Finally finished Owl House after a long hiatus (I had watched up to the first half of season 2), but pushed into the rest of 2 and the fragments of season 3 that escaped the cancellation hammer.
Starts good, continues excellent and then sort of peters out with a moral anvil and a trope I absolutely hate

. By the end they're basically just narrating the wrap-up.
So not the best ending, but season 2 and the first episode of season 3 was still pretty good. But you can really feel the spite at the cancellation, between the jokes about 'not having time for another 20 adventures' and doubling down on queer representation (season 3 starts with a coming out party) and demonic magic and witch hunters as idiots.
Probably the most interesting thing is Disney allowed the spite to air, regardless of the whining soccer moms. Fun show, wrong company, at least for now.
I watched this a while back. This guy is one of my favourite YouTubers. Criminally undersubbed, in my opinion. He even gave my book a shout-out at the end of the video!

Been watching this and this guy has to be one of my favorite YouTubers. He hadn't updated in...feth, years, maybe? And was wondering if/when he might upload a few weeks ago. And he finally has and I can see why he took so long, the level of detail, editing and research that must've went into this video would've been incredible.
I watched the infamous footage of President Kennedy on a computer in my high school library and I'll never forget just like I'll never forget accidentally watching the footage of the Christchurch shooting on Facebook. I thought it was fake at first before it finally dawned on me it was real and shut it off. My friend should not have shared it.

Now having chewed through all the seasons? I find about 1/3 tedious & repetitive, 1/3 average/ok, & 1/3 good.
Most annoying is how animated Anikan & movie Anikan simply aren't the same character.

My wife and I have been watch On Patrol Live. It's been a guilty pleasure as one of the police departments they follow is about 20 minutes north of us and another department is about 30 miles south of us. It makes me sad when I see how dumb and high some of the people who live around me are.

I'm roughly two decades behind on TV, but thanks to our local video rental store, I'm finally watching The Walking Dead. I just finished the six-episode first season, and rather enjoyed it.

Overall, other than the Joker, I like it's style.
I also like that it doesn't really have much - if any -overarching plot. So if I tune it out while painting some detail or such I haven't missed anything going into the next episode.
Watched this. Really enjoyed it, and it good to see my favorite Warhammer Fantasy Battle faction, the High Elves back in action. Although I do find the guys from Tabletop Tactics a bit OTT, like Spider makes them smoke meth before they begin every game, or something. Chef and Jinx are a bit less so, though. Really enjoyed it, go the Asur!

Watched the new Liz Miele stand up special on YouTube. It started off slow with more buildup but ended with strong payoffs. She’s one of my favorite comedians working today.
I like Internet Historian but I hadn't heard of this channel until the almighty YT algorithm suggested their latest video on Life is Strange Colours or whatever the feth it's called. I enjoyed it a lot so I've watched a couple more including the one about Forespoken and it seemed the game was even worse than I thought. They are just too damned funny, lol.
