I won't bother watching the videos, I'll just look at the articles when they are out. Maybe this weekend when I have 5 minutes free.
That’d be a good trick, preview isn’t until 31st August
Ha ! My bad, it'll be the next weekend then.
Honestly I'm just tired of GW showing previews of the preview. And then we complain about lack of content when the day of the preview is there...they empty it themselves just in a matter of days before. Communication is really a silly thing sometimes.

Meanwhile GW central has 40K new edition.
It could easily just be that the Specialist game department is undersized to support multiple larger games and thus have to shift around between them.
Agreed that is likely the case, but have we seen a ramp up in their hireing? I don't normally follow that sort of thing, but one would assume with NuEpic and The Old World becoming a thing they will need to ither hire more on or drop some of the other things they are supporting.

That seems to have gone ker-splat.
It's just Delaque and Van Saar left for the "main" gangs. Squats might get something but I'd be surprised to see Corpse Grinders or the Cops get anything.

At least there will be blood bowl. Some rumours about what team will be?
Vampires have been rumoured for quite some time but the rumour seems to have come from nowhere. At least we're finally getting some new Blood Bowl, it's been too long. I just want them to get the remaining teams of legend done and then hopefully we can get some more new teams.

I mean they've shown off 1 mini and listed almost all of their game systems, they've not given away much so far. The problem with their previews is they often fill them with waffle, show the obvious and do "but wait until next time" type not-real-preview videos.
i.e. if they reveal multipart infernus marines, will anyone actually care? But you can be assured they'll spend 15 minutes talking about them.

Novel thought. What about not wasting time complaining

I'm very glad to see a proper buff piece for Ardboyz that isn't just the Warchanter, though I am curious what he'll do for them since the Warchanter currently provides them 4+ rally and damage increase/output, so I wonder if he's going to get the common buff a lot of smaller heroes do now and give an additional buff alongside when he gives out All Out Attack, like +1 to wound or exploding 6's.
Weirdbrutes sound magic oriented, so maybe they act as stronger conduits for WAAAGH! magic?

It's dakkadakka forum. If we don't complain, the forums cease to exist. And besides, it's still be less time wasting than watching the whole video in live streaming full of useless hype and building up.
Yeah, it's just one miniature here, but don't forget it's just the first "preview of the preview". We'll have others until the day before, as history taught us.
But no worry, people can still have fun with the preview day. Just not me.

Especially when in today's world there's a LOT of other stuff bombarding you all the time to distract you and that's before you get to all the bits of life outside of hobby-life.
For a lot of people big preview events are when they pay attention; the rest of the time they aren't on forums, facebook, instagram, google hounding after every snippet of news and every morsel of info they can find.
The rumour that's been going around for the last 2 months isn't something they are aware of; or if they are they are also aware of the popular dozen others also doing the rounds.
The Primarch (if shown here) will probably be Lorgar Transfigured. Him and the Khan on bike have rules but no model, and I’m pretty sure they discounted biker Khan when the roadmap came out.

Would that be Logar on the ground after Horus stomped on him after his failed coup?
Is that a thing? In that case it won't be Lorgar. The roadmap clearly says a Primarch, as in just one. I'd expect stomped Lorgar to come paired with Sanguinius in a Primarch rug set.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?

Be quick, it is already disappearing (withdrawn on UK site and no longer available to UK retailers).
Add to that, Ardboyz have disappeared from the UK site (and, with the disappearance of the SC box, there is currently no way to buy them from GW). With the Ardboy Big Boss and the Big Pig revealed earlier, I am thinking a little wave of releases for the Ironjawz, plus an update of the packaging for the likes of the Ardboyz? Rules appearing in a coming Dawnbringer book, but maybe a new Orruk Battletome (when was the last one released, is it time for a new one?)? A Vanguard set seems likely (presumably including Brutes this time).
They do seem to hint that more stuff is coming for the Ironjawz in the Big Boss article - will be nice, as the Ironjawz alone are funky but a little 'thin' as an army.
Looking forward to the Big Boss, the Ardboyz need more representation

Repeating form the AoS thread: this guy, new Ardboyz, Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, Zoggrok Anvilsmasha - a named Megaboss-sized model on foot and the Maw-Grunta that was already shown all planned for release late in September

Managed to miss that, thank you.
And that causes me a problem... I have 50 Ardboyz sitting in a box that I was about to launch into. But if the new ones look nicer...

Curses!
And the new Ardboyz likely look similar to the ones on the side of the Maw-Grunta, maybe just with a bit less armour so they don't have more than the Ardboy Big Boss
Personally I'm going to try to convert my unbuild Ardboyz to 40k Ork boyz, anybody know if the arms are about the same size so I can just use the 40k Boyz arms on the Ardboy bodies?

Were the maw grunta ones ardboys or brutes?
Would feel odd if weaker troop is riding them rather than bigger meaner ones.

It would probably work better to use the 'Ardboy arms & glue shootaz/sluggaz on them & keep the "ardboyz choppaz.
