At this point any rumour engine that sits for around a year or over seems to be an anniversary piece.

Not for any armies I collect, but I agree that they are both fantastic models! Though I really wish GW would throw Fyreslayers a bone and give them a new infantry/cavalry/monster/something unit that isn't a leader.

At this rate GW might well one day have a "heroes unit" comprised of 20 individually unique hero/leader models for the army

Oh good. The Fyrslyrs faction was really calling out for more character models.

I prefer aniversary models be alternative heroes than new unit tiny minority can get...

Oh I didn't mean that Fyreslayers got a new infantry unit as an anniversary model. I was talking in general about their army releases.

The Ethereal is very nice, it's always good to see options in a kit, no matter how small.

The Dwarf does nothing for me, I can barely tell one Fyreslayer ffom another.

I like the fyreslayer model. I like most of the fyreslayer models. I might even go out of my way to get it at some point.
I'd play the army in AoS if it just had more unit variety than four kinds of the same looking infantry with different weapons and one person on a giant lava dog.

It's great to see more unique miniatures for Anniversary stuff than more Space Marines, I do quite like them both.

Not too sure what to think of the Ethereals pose, though. Something about how close together their legs are combined with the wind direction makes how they're standing seem a bit odd.

Ethereal wins IMO. 4 elements is a really nice touch.
