When WGA list a date against a set (eg Expanse Crew - April 18), what does that mean? Is that a T1 date or the planned actual production?

It's been a hectic month at Wargames Atlantic but good news on the Damned!
Good day to you all!

Apologies for the lack of updates recently. It has been a hectic time the last month and I've been up to my eyeballs in all sorts! The good news is, regardless of how busy I am, the production of the Damned has not stopped! In fact, every mold is complete apart from the Mauler.

The first of the Mauler molds are due to be complete any day with the others to follow imminently. As soon as I have photo's of the sprues I will post them in an update.

The Mauler is going to hold us back a little. However, in an effort to keep things moving, as soon as the production runs start on the Mauler sprues we will start shipping pledges out

I will begin updating all of the address changes this week so if you have an address update and you haven't already let us know then please send it through.

Not long now folks!

Best wishes,

Charlie

Good News.
Makes sense too. I'm sure there are a ton of sprues like mine that don't have any Mauler's in them.

I'm so ready to get these and build some Trench Crusade warbands.

I am still not clear as to what the date that WGA list against a planned set (eg Expanse Crew - April 18) actually represent?

I gather it does not refer to a T1 planned target. Is the planned production run?

I would assume that if it doesn't have a stage listed, it's the rough date they're hoping to start prep work.

I agree it would be nice if they'd be clearer on what the dates mean.

I don't know and couldn't find anything about it on their website. But under Vox Populi section it does show the stages...

In general the process goes: Sculpting, Sculpture Review (and any revisions), File Prep, Layout, Tooling, T1 (first test shot), Box Design, Box Printing, Release.

I am interested in the Genoese crossbowmen. I wonder if these are 28mm, or grand scale. And wonder what can be built with the sprue. If they are being released on April 18th, I would expect a preview... so the date may well be the "we will get started on these" date.

Probably 28mm given they've had 28mm ones on WGA Digital for a while, and those are often where their sets start now.

Ok, nice. Will admit I haven't really looked at the digital stuff. I like these. If the set is like this in plastic then I will likely get. But I have put off the new Guards or Traitor's toll stuff as I balked at the prices a bit. Same with the Gladiator set at kickstarter prices. May end up just getting a couple sprues of each.

Not sure if others have stated this already, but they are doing at least 10 armies in hard plastic for their new rank and flank 10mm game.

The Orc horde is the first release for the new 10mm game. Looks good. Not sure about only 2 cavalry models per base but I guess that all depends on how you want to base them.

yes they have an old school feel for sure. I'm curious what base sizes they are going to use in their game. The article this upcoming Friday will cover that they said. Hoping they stick to 40mm wide frontage like most systems in 10mm these days.

Very impressive. Thank you for the sprue pics.

I was wondering if there's anything more known about the system it will use?

Impresive!! they have updated and fixed the long polearms of the orcs.

and looking forward to trying the new rules.

Not sure about only 2 cavalry models per base

Maybe they are skirmishers?... that would justify it in game and in looks...
