We’ve now had confirmation we’re getting a reveals show at the LVO. 9pm PST 18 Jan, 5am Proper Time 19 Jan.

We can expect 40K, AoS, Underworlds, Horus Heresy, Underworlds, Kill Team and War Cry.

So for KT it'll be whomever is fighting the Night Lords in their box, I 'spose.

And nothing for Necromunda.

Pretty certain HH will be at least an initial wave of the Solar Auxilia.

The cat can't be anything but an Elf Underworlds team, can it? Sculpted base and all that.

Might be Underworlds, but doesn't have to be. It could be a tactical kitty rock rather than a full sculpted base.

So, predictions wise -

40K presumably the Ork and Custodes characters previewed at NY, and maybe the Custodes box set (which is all existing stuff and that character).

Valrak also said he'd heard a rumour that there was a generic Dark Angel librarian left to reveal.

Horus Heresy - I imagine it'll just be all Solar Auxillia. There is still an "and upgrades" on the resin part of the roadmap, I guess it's possible we might get some chapter-specific Mark III helmets or something? I doubt we'll see the command squad yet.

Underworlds - pass tbh. Underworlds is pretty random at this point. Though a CoS release would be good.

War Cry - Ditto.

Kill Team - I guess we'll see the remaining half of the Night Lords box, which we pretty much know are plastic DE Grotesques at this point. And maybe another terrain box for them?

Would be nice to have a Gitz crew for the Warcry with some funny/nasty options. Shaman with a mix of gobbos and squigs and some troll for a muscle.

Weren't the next warcry bands meant to be death and order according to the schedule? Lahmian would be cool, but I'd prefer an ossiarch one.

They could plausibly tease something (such as a Skaven-themed video) while saving the full announcement for Adepticon.

A new Quest game would be welcome right now, but I'd say that the mysterious cat is part of an Underworlds model due to the detailed base.

Unless...it's Mordheim? Necromunda kits have detailed bases...

Warcry models can have detailed bases too...

There's Dawnbringers 4 which is rumoured to have at least one more hero and there's Dawnbringers 5 which is rumoured to have the Darkoath cavalry and Callis and Toll from the new year sillouetes. There will probably be a 4th edition tease at Adepticon like 40k got last year.
I really hope we see the Kroot box. For me that's the most exciting 40k release they've had since Admech first got a codex.

I thought the final dawnbringer book would be khorne focused? They keep teasing a reunion with Vandus and Kul, and Korghos seems likely to ascend. Both may get new models

I’ve just double checked and apart from the odd under foot bit (which all the systems have), Warcry definitely doesn’t have sculpted bases…

Way too soon to announce unless GW changes habits(and if they change habit it might just as well be not 3 year cycle after all). More like april for that announcement.

And it won't be in roadmap but full blown big hype best news ever announcement

40K wise the three models from the New Years silhouette trailer must be high up. Maybe not the Kroot if that is the lead for an expanded range.

Yep locally we had a solid KT meta which has pretty much dissipated now between the box scarcity at the end of the last season and the extended hiatus. Online there doesn't seem to be the buzz for the announcements either. I don't think the last box basically being two 40K units rather than KT specialists helped much either. Hopefully this announcement puts a bit more life back into the game but if it's looking to be another primarily 40K kit it likely won't change much.

AoS is a tricky one, with the end of the edition fast approaching I assume GW will fall back on individual character releases.
