Do they ever release these miniatures apart from Events Days?

I've never been able to get to an Event Day as I live in a regional area and I can't remember if GW released limited events minis a long time after online.

I like them both, but the kroot feels like another one of those miniatures where it would have just been another basic inclusion within tthe unit that just got left out for some reason. Doesn't feel overly special.

Steel Rook's a very fun sculpt; nice balance between impractical fashion and not too over the top (by AoS standards). Don't think I'll be able to buy it for practical reasons, but glad he exists.

The company champion was MTO once. Check Mad Doks loot group to pick up exclusive models without being extorted

Does the crow solve a rumour engine? Love the Knight. Don't usually pay much attention to special edition minis but I do wish I could grab that one, luuurvely!

The bird knight is good, it avoids the typical problem of overcrowding a sculpt with useless stuff. Simple and clean with just one or two additional detail features.

Shame that the chicken knight is an event exclusive. You could have some fun with less serious color schemes most people probably won't try on a limited model.

They do that every year. It's not happened outside of one instance that I'm aware of.

These likely lads will only be available at official Warhammer events and at selected partner events – and only during 2023. If you miss out this year, you won’t be able to get them at all!

That was statement last year. Not at all similar.

I really like the steel rook.
You could easily make up a back story that its an aelf commander in the armour if you fancy a themed CoS army.

I absolutely NEED two of those Rooks: one to use as an Empire Captain, and one to convert as a Tzeentch Champion.
