This announcement took me completely by surprise. I loved the first game and having playable Necrons seems like a natural evolution.

Based on the preview screenshots on Steam it seems there's some sort of strategic map for the campaign mode.

The first game seemed to be a bit of a sleeper hit.

Are there going to be Thallax this time, or are they still nailed to the Mechanicum plastic range?

Neat, I just picked up Mechanicus on sale and I'm liking it, so I'm looking forward to a sequel.

I was thinking the other day that the game format could work for an Ork themed version if they ever wanted to - different skill trees like Kommando and Cybork, squigs and various other support troops, etc.

I picked up the first on the recent sale and was pleasantly surprised too. Not an exceptional game, but solid.

I loved this new Guillaume David's album trailer.

But seriously, while looking at screens I think I noticed one of main characters on battlefield. Maybe we will be able to drop Magos Faustinus on battlefield finally

I have to finish the first one... I bought it as well, played the first mission and never turned it on again..lol

As a turn based game, does this have multiplayer on a single screen?

There's a demo out on Steam right now, haven't had a chance to play it yet.

Steam reviews suggest they've pulled a DoW3 on it. Simplifying the unit and upgrades management, and putting it more on-rails than the first one.

But yeah, the price it a bit high.
