There are literally zero non-named inquisitor models.

Inquisition are the ultimate expression of no models = no rules. Their line was so outdated GW simply killed off all of the actual inquisition units and replaced them with whatever stray models they found down the back of the sofa.

That's true of most/all the Mono-god CSM getting split off. Plus a few other new armies with a half-release. They could all use and should get a second wave.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

Just to review the top contenders for a complete range upgrade are:

Dark Eldar
Grey Knights
Catachans
Chaos Daemons

The armies who need more models (not FW resin) are:

Adeptus Custodes
Leagues of Votann

And there are various other units that need to be upgraded...

Don't forget mono-god CSM/Daemons

And some need partial expansions/upgrades.

Spacewolves and other Marine Chapters to fit visually and bring their special rules into the "modern era".

Yeah, but most of the Legion is made of dust - how much unit variety can we really expect?

But I still want a psychic dreadnought, Tzeentch dammit!

They’re not entirely automata.

A bit dim compared to your standard Astartes, sure. But with their friendly neighbourhood Sorceror leading them and focussing them on the fight and not say, that squirrel over there, they’re pretty decent fighters.

I see no reason why that shouldn’t extend to Assault Marines or Havocs or what have you.

They should have some of the iconics/basics

Raptor-ish led a Sorcerer on a Disk maybe?

Psychic Obliterators or Devastators?

World Eaters is probably even worse off than Thousand Sons.

Or, right, and hear me out on this.

Epic Space Marine Style Disc Riders of Tzeentch. These fellas

See the Disc! See the Marine! See the effing huge heavy weapon carried upon a swift but steady platform! See one of the coolest models ever sculpted by GW which would make for a pretty groovy 28mm unit. Like Bike/Landspeeder hybrids. Well paced fire support.

Yes.

There were some real disappointments with the Agents book.

It needs operatives. So first things first: a generic Inquisitor kit that contained enough options to be built as Hereticus, Malleus, Xenos or unaffiliated. Then a generic Inquisitor Lord kit that does the same. Then more attachable hench operatives- so new plastic Daemonhost and Jokaero, an Engineseer equivalent, a doc, comms... there are a lot of existing models that just need to be included in the list with minimal Keyword correction- making the Valkyrie and Arvus Legal transports, along with Rhinos.

Give us a Navy HQ and an Arbites HQ. Bring back the Repressor as a Sororitas/ Arbites dual build and give Arbites bikes.

Some Inquisition upgrade kits for vehicles, both those that are already on the list and the others mentioned here which should be added.

And for the love of God, can we please move away from armies having "generic brand" power weapon as an option? If marines can have different rules for fists and swords, then so can other armies.
Can you meaningfully differentiate a Power Sword, Axe, Maul, and Lance?

I'm all for options, but they have to be MEANINGFUL. The 8th and 9th system for Power Swords/Axes/Mauls was just a math problem to be solved, and even if you didn't get it right, they didn't vary that much to begin with.

With Votann, "kin melee weapon" covers everything from their version of a power fist to a power sword. I think they deserve to at least have a rules distinction between those two things, like other armies do.

You forgot World Eaters. They have two infantry leaders and one is named. This could honestly be solved by giving back to the WE stuff that they lost from the CSM codex, with the only exceptions from the codex being psykers, named characters, other Cult Marines and maybe Chosen and cultists (I'm not sure if the last two fit the the WE theme), while Legionnaires could be limited to taking only one unit. I really do not understand why World Eaters had to lose so many units, and I'm afraid that the upcoming Emperor's Children army will get the same treatment.

In terms of what new units the World Eaters should get, the big ones I think are WE Skullcrushers, Red Butchers, some kind of priest unit, a ranged unit to replace Havocs (or better, give us our Havocs back), an Eightbound lord, some kind of Terminator Lord (either unique or from the CSM codex), and a regular Chaos Lord (either unique or from the CSM codex). Outside of the World Eaters, give the Death Guard a new infantry melee unit to replace Possessed and their maulerfiends and forgefiends back. For the Thousand Sons, a unique daemon engine unit and some kind of other unit that's not a leader. And for WE, DG and TS, give them back their Vindicators. Regular CSM should get breacher units or some kind of Space Marine unit with shields.

Also, Epidemius needs a new model to replace the old metal block.

Yes, that's point. Inquisition is so important faction to lore that we DEFINITLY need more modeling work based on it.
