The blending from green to yellowish is just amazing ! the pink fleshy bit is also perfectly executed the dark metalics bits are also realy convincing.
The rust feel a little bit flat in comparison, may be try drybrushing some darker sports or metalics on top ? or stipling to add more texture/ depth ?

It looks great as is don't get me wrong but i feel like it could just bring the model to a higher standing with just a few extra steps on the rust effect .

keep up the amazing work !

Thanks! Those transitions drinks a lot of my blood but that plays off the result.
Oh and there is no rust. Brown parts are just basecoat for bronze). it's gonna be dull wornout bronze with bright scratches and patina.

Now I'm rest from dg a bit and assemble my City of Ash box.

To be honest real booster for me is a Richard Grey. He has a webpage with lot's of tutorials. You could follow him blindly or analyze what he do but you improve anyway. And again, good paints, good brushes and do not rush.vin fact I revesited every armor plate of hauler at least 3 times.

When I said I resting from DG by gluing City of ash I was wrong. It's Abit of labour tbh but I'm happy now when it's assembled and ready to play. Even if it's ain't painted.
Tomorrow I'll try finish dark metals all over hauler.

Thanks! Skaven part are simple to build since all the gutter and the night runners are 4-parts. Almost easy to build.

And here is another update for hauler. Somehow it's a bit surprising but the scheme I use for plague marine do not work on much larger blight hauler. It's bleak and dull. After some reading I add another layer of highlights to bronze and it's turns better. But again something is of and I don't understand what exactly.

Only lower trim on main body is done around the eye and mouth.

As always I would be glad for any feedback , good, bad or ugly.

I think you are way too hard on yourself, the scheme works wonder on that hauler, again the blending is amazingly executed, what you find dull might just be because the plates are larger and as such they may appear too clean for a death guard army ? you could simply tone it down a bit by washing it a bit with some diluted brown or purple ink ? It should do the trick. or you could stipple some damages or scratches here and there to break the uniformity.

the NMM Bronze effect on the lower trim looks amazing as well it's clean but effective ! keep up the amazing work and don't be too hard on yourself !

Thanks again. But this is already reworked scheme, I've moved from 3 to 7 colours to make it looks this way. When I try plague marine bronze it was too flat. I'd split highlights in two groups. First yellowish and second orange/pink. So they represent direct and reflected light.

Now Idk what to do with spider legs in front.

And completed front armor piece. Nex would be the "legs "
