It was always the plan. As i said in another thread a few days ago:

I cant believe people still fall for this crap. Its marketing/manufactured demand. They get people worked up about something (ie how dare they take our Steel Legion away), suddenly a bunch of people who had no opinion over it become passionate on the topic, then a couple years later surprise heres the thing you all want.

Now instead of selling steel legion minis to all 5 people that care enough to buy them on release day, theres thousands frothing at the mouth for them because it was taken from them before and they are going to make sure they dont miss out on them this time lest they be taken away again.

Dissapointing that all these cool vehicules dont have the option of being manned (or womanned in this case) by a non-spoecial character.

Ohhhh that inquisitor is really nice

New Red Terror! Difficult to see how they've done the body from the (very glitchy!) video at the moment, but the top half looks great at least.

Really like that new Guard kill team too - very Star Wars rebel commandos (on Endor) in style. Though I'm a little surprised to see new Guard that don't seem to connect to an existing regiment - e.g. new catachans or tallarns.

Looks like everything from the 'waist' up is upright, and the tail runs the entire length of the oval base and doubles back again so the pincer tail rears up behind & to the side of the body.

Yeah... kind of looks too snake like to me, compared to the OG but difficult to tell atm. I guess he was inevitably going to be enbiggened from the original model, but reserving judgment until we get some clearer images.

Codexes still valid, which is surprising.

But 70 new detachments, and new ways to use detachments, which seems complicated with old detachments still valid (but they re-iterated that they are). Multiple detachments in a force.

Objectives won't be dumb circles tossed on the table... so they can sell terrain.
