So gravis dwarves?
Edit: Unfortunately, I think Votann really need to try and avoid adding too many bipedal units that look like they're wearing power armor or look like they're just mini-dreadnoughts. The faction is visually very marine-y, and I think they need to work to distinguish themselves going forward. When they first came out, people were describing them as, "Oh, so it's like halfway between a firstborn marine and a skitarii," and they've added a short librarian to their ranks since then.

Oh we’ve seen their defence forces, yes. But those just seem to be pioneer companies and infantry support.
The first hint of “oh, you really want a fight?” we’ve seen are the Ironkin Steeljacks.
What makes you say that? The Hekaton has not a hint of industrial equipment on it, it's as the name suggests a rolling fortress.
FWIW, we also see the Kin actively harvesting resources from tyranid bioships at the start of their (only) novel, and they seem to basically just be using the suits we already have rules for.

ATTENTION. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

A semi humanoid mech suit with big turbo fan osprey tilt wings on each shoulder, and heavy duty gun arms with smaller bird perching legs could look cool. It would be permanently flying but could still walk if needed.

Just a thought here: The Tau and the Votann have a documented history of tech trading. The Votann are the reason the Tau even have Ion weapon technology (I think this was in the 4th edition Tau codex when mentioning Demiurge). On the flip side the Tau introduced Votann to railgun tech.
If Votann did get walkers, of any variety/size, perhaps they should look a bit Tau influenced. Like the Temu version of an older crisis suit.

Fortresses are defensive. In-universe they are converted haulers.
I think we could very well see a proper 100% tank eventually.

I still hold out hope that the next "big" Votann wave brings in the modern version of the Iron Eagle Gyrocopter - even if GW seem to dislike airborne units at present.

Speaking of airborne units, was anyone else totally shocked we didn't get jumppack Votann in the last update? That single model in the Kill Team box made it look like a sure thing.

I was more shocked that the Jump Jet Imperial Knight Destrier couldn't fly.
