I find that when I am playing big battles my Titans usually go vehicle hunting, or if no vehicles are around, shoot squads of marines. Because of this I find that I prefer Turbo lasers (defeating cover saves is great too), or to a lesser degree Plasma blastguns. I haven't even heard of anyone liking the inferno cannon.
What do you guys use?

Ultramarine Land Raider Pilot on Cruise Control

I played a game with my warlord out fitted with twin turbo lasers and those 2 guns alone did more damage than the rest of the titan.
Here's a thread I started a while ago about loadouts for warhounds:

Dual turbo lasers all the way. Whatever you shoot dies. Killed a couple of baneblades with one shot thanks to it being strength D.

I went with the ubiquitus Turbo-laser and Plasma Blastgun. The strength D is nice, but it's also just as nice to lay down a 10" template on an ork horde at the same time.

Under the current rules the twin turbo laser(the best gun all around) and the vulcan megabolter are the best loadout for an all around useful titan. the lasers kill tanks the mega bolter kills troops. the plasma blast gun may sound really cool and seem impressive until you realise that you have 1 shot....and if you roll a 1 or 2 then it still misses. where as the mega bolter has 15 chances to do damage.
Now if they go to all templaate weapons just scattering in 5th as they seem to be the plasma blast gun will become very useful indeed.

If you're using Apoc rules, then the Plasma Blast Gun can have 2 shots using the 7" template

Longtime Dakkanaut

I like to have them target dedicated(designed).
1 with 2 PlasmaBlast-guns-Anti Heavy Inf/Vehicle
1 with 2 Vulcans-Anti Infantry.
Unfortunately, my Reaver is 'Hard glued' And it came with a powerfist on it.
Inferno Cannons are rubbish, imo. The strength is comparable to a Plasma/B, and the 'Template(HUGE); is still smaller than the Plasma. Just a bit of waffle from me on the subject.
Point is pretty moot now as 4 of the Members of our Club have Warlord Titans......*sigh*
Kinda blows chunks.

What is this about missing with the Plasma Blastgun? It is Ordnance. Unless if you scatter 6 inches ( a 1 in 9 chance) you still hit what you aimed for. Even if you don't hit what you aim for with the packed tables of Appocolypse you are sure to hit something else.

My understanding was that its currently a giant plasma cannon which means if you roll a 1 or 2 to hit then it misses. if it is indeed a scatter(which it appears to become in 5th) than a 10" blast template is nice indeed. the twin turbo laser is still better of course.

It's an ordnance weapon, and you can't miss with ordnance, you can only scatter.
My Warhound is fitted out with the Blastgun and the Megabolter, because I tend to use it primarily for wiping out Infantry, which Heavy 15, and 2 S8 7" templates do wonderfully. The blastgun's 10" shot also gives it some nice vehicle killing punch, with the option of being able to tag anyone standing too close to the target as well.

I would recommend the two Double Barreled Turbo-Laser Destructors. They're strength D, AP 2, and are Large (5") Blasts. Even against infantry, laying down 4 of those is going to mess up whatever you're shooting at, while giving you the option of wasting armor as well.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

I think that inferno cannons are good. Probably not as good as the Turbo-Lasers, but if you don't want to just use them, I think they are probably the second best choice (if your not sitting in the back camping like a panzie). The Vulcan mega bolter has 10 hits per shot (on average), and if you are using them against marines, both Vulcan mega bolter and Inferno cannon are about as good, with Inferno cannon ignoring cover. Granted, you may not kill everybody in the squad, but it is basically rolling a d6 for every model, on a 2+ it dies. Also, Inferno cannon can hit multiple squads, and is pinning (cause its just SO effective against beakies).
So, if you think you are going to be in range, which is about 30", maybe a little less to get full effectiveness, I would definitaly recomend an Inferno cannon over a Vulcan Mega bolter, and about on par with a Plasma Blast gun, depending on the roll.
