Nice attention to detail, especially on that first guy. The poses are a lil static and the cloths do not seem to cling to the bodies instead they look like down garments. Otherwise nice job!

Hey, nice greens!
I have to agree with the statement about the clothing though - realistic clothing is very hard to do, I mean, anatomy is tough enough but then doing realistic drapery on top is even harder.
Still, these look really nice and will be great on the table top. Nicely done!

Very nice! Full of character and loads of opportunities to use these guys in either 40k or fantasy with little effort. Looking forward to seeing the weapons.
What's your plan for them?

Nice job, cant wait to see what the painted figs look like. Great work all round. Keep us updated.
I have been looking for something like this for ages. No one make a good quality range of 28mm zombies. Esp not ones for a modern zombie game. Alla Romaros or Residen evil fikms ( not the mutants) HasselFree and Coppelstone make great figs for the "Zombie Hunters" but no one does Zombies that dont look like pure crap next to them or way too small. If you would do hand full of these in a modular format I bet you would make a small mint. I for one would buy them.

Wow - those are pretty impressive. Even if you don't make a full army out of them, they'd make a great Scavvy Necro gang!

Resin for now, Troll Forged minis's are casting and selling them. I might cast some up in white metal by hand for myself.
Long term i've sourced a local plastics firm who specialise in injection moulding, quick round of golf with the chaps and hopefully I can convince them to branch out into minis.
Sculpted about 20 greatcoat guardsmen, perfected the design so the next few should be the business. I'd love a sprue of greatcoats, going by the perry twins and warlord romans you can get 10 minis + extras per sprue and sell them at £6 each whilst still turning a profit !

No, no, no...they're not greatcoat guardsmen - get that out of your vocabulary unless you want a cease and desist order. Maybe they're "Longcoat Dragoons" or something else. But not guardsmen.

Of course not, they're humans wearing WW1 trenchcoats. Thats not an imperial aquilla on their uniform, it's just a triangle with lines running across it.
Zero copyright infringement from me, guaranteed.
Some examples of them on warseer.

Thank you.
These are all off to Troll Forged Minis to get cast up, be a month or two before I get some copies to paint but I can't wait. Plenty conversion opportunities to make a real horde of them, I've ordered 40 for starters.
About to start a couple of 'big muties' now then onto another theme.

So much stuff WIP but i'll try to stick to finished stuff : the first (of many) small pieces to make up a 'Gibbering Horde' base. Pretty much Nurglings rule wise, I'm making them the lowest of the low. All will be crawling in the gutter so to speak...

Those cultists or whatever they are are awsome. I've got a pretty big LatD army, mostly Nurgle but if those go on sale anywhere, I would most definately buy some. Especially the leader-type who looks like he's wearing another mutant's face over his own. (So how ugly do you have to be to think that's an improvement?)

Decided to just blitz this thread with WIP, sketches and fluff. Most of it can all be found over at Troll Forged,
http://trollsforge.proboards83.com/index.cgi?board=cs&action=display&thread=60
The traitorous and excommunicate hosts:
Imagifiers
Floating inches above the earth, the nine feet tall skinny form of the imagifier glides etherealy amongst the traitor forces. Their militaristic uniforms; sweeping long black great coats breasted with vertical lines of shinning buttons, spiked winglets, high buttoned metal plated collars and long ornamented cuffs are a mocking parody of the uniforms worn by the Imperial Legion of Man. There tall boots go unseen under their wraith like floating coats.
Reaching out from the black sleeves come their impossibly long skeletal bare hands, wrinkled, pale and blue veined with sharp talons, they constantly spread and point towards their enemies and entice their followers forward into combat.
Most grotesque and disturbing of all, sitting atop a heavy collared skinny neck rests the hairless head of the imagifier. Their faces are heavily boned and skinny, with deep dark ringed piercing eyes, pointed noses and chins, high cheekbones and frighteningly large mouths displaying sharp yellow teeth and plenty of pink fleshy veined gums. Their sharp horrid gaunt faces contrast with their large semi bulbous craniums that betray their true power, for imagifiers are powerful pyskers able to turn even the bravest warrior into a quivering wreck, the merest glance causing men to fall into wretched foetal balls to weep and defecate themselves in terror and insanity.
Similarly, these powers of the mind are used by the imagifiers on their followers to bolster their manic morale and press them forward unto any foe. The same telekinetic power used to levitate their bodies is also used on attack where necessary, hurtling debris against enemies and throwing men aside with mere thought alone.
Multipart ( GW style) chaos troops WIP :
Black Praetorians
Once mutiny has been proclaimed and allegiance to the chaos powers has been declared openly, the Imagifiers will show themselves at the head of the Black Praetorians. The organised militant force of rebellion, the Black Praetorians serve as an elite core well armed and disciplined and ready to make war. Black leather greatcoats, boots and gloves, Praetorians wield reliable rifles and grenades slung on a formal belt, a red band on the left arm denotes their ranking and regiment.
Covering the head of the praetorians in battle sits an iron all enclosing helmet spiked at the tip, two thin slits provide vision and one acts as a mouthpiece creating a faceless inhuman trooper striking fear into those civilians and militia they are sent to brutalise and round up when not engaged in conflict. Praetorians retain most of their sanity compared to cultists, this fact betrays their sadism and cruelty as they perform acts of holocaust and genocide on behalf of their daemonic commanders.
