Hello everyone, I have made my own SM Chapter and cant figure out a name to it. Can you help me with that?

Well, the traditional form is to combine an animal or mythological being with an adjective of some sort. Something like the Active Critters. Picking an animal that you like, or is important to a group, ethnicity, etc. that you're a member of is a good start, and then add an adjective that ties them into the warhammer universe or exemplifies one of their traits. My marines are Star Owls because I (obviously) like the Athenian owl of wisdom, and they're IN SPACE!

How about a chapter that specialises in naval warfare. Called the Aqua Marines. Heraldry in pale greenish blue.

Some details about your army would help.

What color are they? etc.

I have not made fluff yet unless that they are an forgotten chapter and they fighting on a jungle planet against orks and monsters.

The Catachan Devils. Base their recruitment there, and say their base of operations is in orbit.

The Jungle Cruisers. They ride around in long riverboats and give tours to the locals, all the while bombarding them with bad puns.

Bit of Latin there, and a Warrior classification.

The Spartan Loraxes? (They will speak for the trees!)

Oh we don't have enough information for many serious suggestions. But there's nothing more serious than a charging rhinoceros.

Catachan Space Marines? Now that's just unfair. And ridicoulus. Mostly ridicoulus. All their muscles would never fit into a normal Power Armor

I've tried to come up with Marine Chapter names, but it's something I fail at. Best I got was "Imperial Death Waves", until I realised that 6 syllables and three words is a bad idea.

"Python Guard" is more likely to say Monty Python rather than Python snake.

Well, you can use a word that ties into Jungles with an animal that lives in jungles. I'd recommend Jade as your adjective: it implies green and is short. I liked verdant, but that has a connotation of inexperience, which isn't what you want.

As for a jungle critter, you can go with Devil (Jade Devils), or you can go with alliteration (Jade Jaguars). Panther is a popular choice for chapter names, and Jade Panthers sounds pretty decent. Sticking with big cats, Jade Tigers is actually pretty neat. Going with snakes, you want to stay away from Cobra (the GI Joe thing), but Jade Asps or Jade Vipers would both be pretty cool.

Leaving animals entirely, you can pick a mythological being and be the Jade Ghosts, the Jade Gorgons, etc.

What about something from a "tropical" society's mythology?

Coatls - a kind of winged, flying snake - were revered in south american cultures, much like dragons in other cultures. That would be a pretty original chapter concept.
