right, so if i was to collect like a bloodpact army how would i use them?
× from codex: witch hunters that has the little army list thing about making a cultist army?
× from codex: imperial guard?
well my real question is that is that witch hunters traitor guard section still valid?

I'd suggest Imperial Guard with Witch Hunters allies. Between Doctrines and Allies, you have a lot of options to work with.
Imperial Guard forms the base, as they have the Ordnance you're going to need.
Witch Hunters give nice flavor via "counts as" Flagellants, along with Inquisitor HQ. I wouldn't bother with the extra list, as that's more for refereed scenario games.
Have fun!

But there arent't real rules for 40k Flagellants, are there?
I vote guard.

I vote... traitor guard. Suck it up, get Siege of Vraks and go wild.

At the moment im using Guard with Daemon hunters as allies, but i do switch with witch hunters aswell. But daemon hunters is probably better if you intend, fluff wise, to field the more upper ranks of the blood pact, all the the top ranking officers wear terminator/power aromour, plus they have more nasty weapons and daemomhosts are always fun to play with
But pretty much stick with what you think is best, but just the Guard list alone wont realy cut it
And if i recall corectly im not sure if the flagelents can used any more.
Great to see more Traitor Armys popping up too!!

I think Daemonhunters are your best bet.
You can even use the adversary rules in the book to take greater daemons and summoned daemons!

No... your OPPONENT can use the adversaries rules to take daemons... not you. Hence "Adversaries".
Also, bear in mind that you can ally both DH and WH to an Imperial Guard army, so if you want GK Termies with Guard and Arco-Flagellants you can pull it off. But remember you need a WH priest to use the flagellants/penitents, and he has to be attached to a WH unit of some sort. It gets really awkward, which is why I decided to use the Ork codex for my LatD.

Oops, I forgot that. I'd happily let people attach those dudes to thier armies in friendly games. But then I'd happily let people use an adapted version of the old LATD list in friendlies too.
Anything to encourage kick ass conversions.

Wasn't there an article in WD that allowed the use of flagellants in WH armies. That might be worth checking out.
