I have a plan tyo have at least one Titan for for every army I play. With the Necron I got a little stumped. They really don't have any titans. Sure, they have some super heavy things in Epic scale, but all of that seems a bit boring and has no titan-like appeal to me.
Then I started looking at another race that is not known for superheavies, the Tau. What if the Necron have something similar to the Manta? I could just make it look like one of their BFG ships on a slightly smaller scale ( and use BFG as an inspiration for weapons).
2,500 points
9 structure points
Flyer
Living Metal
Armor 14 all around
Three Guass Anihilators (like the Necron Pylon)
Special Rules: Teleport Hub. After moving this ship may teleport up to three Necron units from reserve anywhere within 12 inches of the ship. These troops count as deepstriking but do not scatter on the turn they arrive.

This should be in proposed rules.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

How about some sort of tomb giant.
Roughly Imperial Knight sized.
maybe run a pair
or is that too fantasy-battle?
I think the 2,500 point hover-thing is a bit too-killy

I did some sketches a while back for a Necron superheavy. Basically, it was a chunk of terrain lifted out of the ground and hovering, with Necron spires protruding from top, bottom and sides. It had Cities of Death terrain on top, to represent the Tomb rising up underneath an Imperial city, destroying it in the process.

I think you should make it look like the Sphinx but with a robotic looking metal skull face and claws.
I love the idea of putting modern human ruins on top.

Another reason that I like the Necron Ship idea is that it looks like a realatively simple build for something of that size. And they just look so incredibly cool

Going off the Necron ship idea and look, maybe a big chunk of ground given lift by unknowable Necron science... Call it the Necropolis and have a Monolith as the core, then lots of egyptian/techy bits out to the edges where some giant guns are located.
A fun idea would be to portray it as having just ripped itself from the ground and perhaps be worse for wear from the long sleep... have a rough structure planned and covered in dirt, and have a few places on the underside where the structure has been penetrated and massive galleries of Necron Warriors can be glimpsed inside.
The topside could have a lot of detailing. A Monolith as the core component, but you could do a lot with architecture of the temple complex around it. Maybe even an Imperial 'survey site' getting trashed as the structure lifts off.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

If I were to make a Necron superheavy, I'd make a giant Octahedron (pyramid above, inverted pyramid below). This is relatively easy to make.
Weapons: If you're arming it with Gauss Annihilator, I'd just take 2: 1 on the top, and 1 on the bottom. You can put regular Necron Monolith guns on the other 4 corners. Then give it Flux like a Monolith
SP-wise, I could see 4 to 6 SP, given that the Pylon only has 2SP. AV14 Living Metal means you don't need so many SP as compared to other stuff.
Skimmer Movement should be plenty quick enough - it's huge and intimidating enough without being able to instantly move anywhere on the board.
