I was wondering if blood bowl was still the most popular specialist game, and if so by what margin.

Actually never played BB, but played lot's of Warmaster, Mordheim, and BFG.

Warmaster Ancients and Trafalgar for me.

Hero Quest.

I used to play Epic, Necromunda and Space Hulk, but not anymore.

I use to play Talisman also which I think was GW at one point.

Blood Bowl, despite all it's shortcomings, is the best game GW produces. My Gobos suck but they are still fun to play. If you want to win... Play Orks!

Necromunda, Mordheim... Gorkamorka all seem to be variations on the same broken system that after two or three games gets boring. GW's campaign systems just never seem to work out... The player who has good games at the start always seems dominate from that point forward...

For space games I play Full Thrust and Star Fleet Battles/Federation Commander... Simply just better games.

@beefHeart: Umm, Necromunda is not broken as far as I can see... All it needs is some creative background stuff and it can be awesome. Oh, and players who actually enjoy playing a campaign instead of just powergaming... Have you seen the =I=Munda stuff?

Anyways, my games are:
Necromunda (Teh awesomesauce)
Blood Bowl (For fun)
Aeronautica (Great tactical game, very fast paced)
Battlefleet Gothic (Gotta love big ship battles!)

At one point there was some interest in =I=Munda at my club but folks just seem to generally scoff at home-grown rules. Don't ask me why...

I only play BloodBowl, but I do have the Rules for Necromunda, Mordhiem, Epic, Warmaster and BFG.

Would like to play BFG sometime, but can;t afford to get a fleet or two.

But I will purchase Space Hulk when the new addition arrives and I'd really like to get a copy of the Battle of Five Armies.

I don't do any, but would love to get into Necromunda someday.

necromunda was fun when i was younger, but the throwback to dated rules really get irritating when flipping between 'munda and 40k. the new incarnation of Imunda has brought back some games though for me.

For me:
- BFG by a wide margin
- Mordheim & Necromunda for a few campaigns
- Epic, Inquisitor & Warmaster on the shelf

You know, I'm sure I've still got the old 'Doom of the Eldar' and 'Horus Heresy' boardgames lying around somewhere

i still play 1st edition talisman on a regular basis and the occasional Blood Bowl.

BB, Epic, BFG, SH and bombas over the sulfa river

Yeah, Bloodbowl for me. Can't wait for the DS version to come out in Australia...

I tagged Inquisitor because I tend to use the ruleset a bit, have a few of the models... but tend to scale it down to a 28mm/Necromunda sort of thing.

I don't play any of them, but I've always wanted to play Battle fleet gothic, just because it's not overpriced like everything else in GW; unfortunately, I can't paint fine details so it's a bad idea for me

Actually, drybrushing and washes are your friend here. At the scale of BFG you can get a pretty good paint job with just basecoat, drybrushing and adding some washes with minimal detail painting.

BFG is pretty easy because there's not a lot of detail unless you want to freehand stuff - basecoat & wash will look good.

If you have interest, get it - it's a great game and well worth your while.

I'd love to get back into playing Epic, I have a sweet ork army.

I dont play any specialist games but i would love to play bfg cos startrek has made space battles seem so cool. Ive always wanted to play epic 40k aswell as i like the idea of a huge army i can fit in mt pocket

I wanted to get Space Hulk, too expensive.

Never actually given any specialist games a go. Might one day though.

I'd love for GW to bring back Man 'O War. I always looked at it in the FLGS years ago but was spending all my money on epic at the time.
