He provided an new mission on 2 pages.

I fear they stated that he was only away (the mission challnege presumably having been written before he went on hols).

If his absence extends to next issue, maybe he is on gardening leave.

Hmm i do like his articles and theyve dont this before for Blanchitsu hell be back next month or the month after it wont be long.

GW maybe understood that its better to cancel it

That's a bit harsh, dude. When I interviewed him a few years ago for my website, I found him to be a sound guy.

I will admit that I stopped reading WD a while back, so I've got no idea what his articles have been like.

Jervis is currently too busy working on the 40 special characters that will be featured in the new Ultramarines codex which is coming out fall 2010.

The majority eventually doesn't care.

The minority read his column and complain about it. The majority read his column once and never went back

Actually, I think the largest majority don't even read his column at all, and therefore care not a whit.

Personally I don't mind JJ's columns, and hey it's better than another page of adverts for minis or (horror of horrors) another page of lotr!

I do really like the blanchitzu articles though, perhaps WD could make some more room in there for it to become regular instead of printing reams and reams of lotr stuff.

At my 2 local clubs were always swapping around the english version and commenting on pretty much everything, there are in the ballpark of around 40 TTG in one and 25 in the other. not one.... (and i know because im one of 2 persons that bring the english copy.) Not one likes the colume ,most read it once, every one agrees it should be replaced with something else, and comment regularly that its still in the WD and shouldnt be.

on a side note, everyone also dislikes the directory, everything except for the one page of advanced ordering of the new stuff.

I dont find his Standard Bearers as bad as others
But Blanchitsu beats it hands down IMO
