And they actually work on more than one thing at a time. What a concept.

http://www.reapermini.com/

If they made plastics I'd buy everything from them forever.

I don't know how many people play Evil Cannibal South Seas Hobbits but those that do must be dancing the happy dance now.

Someone's been playing Queen's Blade!

Now I can finally play house with my Orcs! "Snotgrot! You cut that out this minute or so help me there will be hell to pay when your father comes home!"

Dark Elf Glaive Thrower, except that isn't a glaive, a glaive is a pole arm, that's a shuriken. That way the heroes are in cover waiting for someone to throw a pole arm at them but all of the sudden they all get killed because tehy weren't expecting shurikens. This is why you can't trust Dark Elfs, they're sneaky and they lie to you.

The caption says they're women of the night. I don't know that character class because I don't play girl characters but I think it's like a thief-acrobat or maybe a ninja.

I like how these 2 models tell a little story. Iris and Frank are hanging up one-way signs in Atlantis and then the Sea Creature of Blood Reef comes by and tells them that the zoning commission has not approved the new traffic patterns so they have to stop.

Did you ever really really want to set someone on fire but you just didn't have the energy to get up and walk across the room? Well then the X-32 Toastmaster is just what you've been waiting for!

Andre Durand - Not a Rogue Trader and Not created just for your 40k RPGs.

What I like best is how he has a flintlock musket on his hip, in case the high-tech supergun doesn't work.

Ebony Foxx. I need her. I think I have my new Marbo.

Finally Reaper has made a Ninja of the Ghost Dragon Clan, thank goodness! Now I don't have to keep using my Shadow Tiger Clan ninjas to 'count as' Ghost Dragon clan ninjas.

I have no idea what Pathfinder is but I giggle each time they call one of their characters an 'Iconic' anything. Oh he's an ICONIC Ghost Dragon Clan Ninja you say, not just a cliched one!

Apparently the magic system required exposed cleavage and bare legs to feel the mystical emitions properly.

But not for this guy thank goodness.

What's this? A woman? Fully dressed with armor that acutally protects her? How can this be?

Y'know, I don't know why but I know I need her. Maybe I'll take her out to sing when I've tabled an opponent.

Anyway that's it for Reaper this month, there's lots more on their site and painted pics of most of these so enjoy!

I hate the gun, but the rest of the model is ace, especially the sleeker power glove, it reminds me of that douche inquisitor from Emperor's Mercy.

I like the dive team and monster set. I continue to wish that reaper would design figures for a level of customizability.

So, speaking of scale and alternate miniature companies:

Does anyone know of anything that would make a good Rogue Trader model (as in a model of a Rogue Trader) besides the one above?

Actually that meaning of glaive was created fairly recently (I believe by the movie you mentioned), and confused the hell out of me when I first played Warcraft III. The word's initial meaning was a polearm. Interestingly enough, the original french word glaive now commonly means gladius, but I'm just rambling aren't I?

I've got two right now, with the Reaper guy in the mail as number three. For my first Rogue Trader I use the Lord Commissar model to represent one with a strong military background that he is unwilling to relinquish. The other is represented by a PP Arcane Tempest Gun Mage Captain with a laspistol and chainsword swap to make the model fit in more with the rest.

My two cents.

Reaper just seems like GW 20 years ago. If reaper had a warhammer game old GW minis would fit right in.

I wish they could up their game just a bit. Seriously why havent they made anything as awsome as some of the independant resin casters out there?

Not an entire line, but here are a couple.

And they have a couple of versions of this guy. not sure why they aren't consistent on their sci-fi armors.

I use Reaper models side by side with GW. Some are slightly larger, but not terribly so. Perhaps a little closer to PP sizes though.

Never played Gears of War, so no. Didn't know that.

We use these in our Mechwarrior/Battle Tech campaign.

And Starship Troopers ripped off Imperial Guard/Tyranids, too. Right?
