This particular Chimera of the Teutonian 9th was involved in heavy fighting on the swamp planet of Corvek 3 in response to a Chaos/renegade uprising that broke out a month before.

I'm going to use a mixture of westwind Pickelhaube heads with some pigiron productions Militia heads.

and before anyone asks, no, this is not supposed to support any sort of fascist ideology. I know some "Germanic" themed armies have come under scrutiny from some of the community. So lets put an end to that right away.

Thank you. I thought I went a bit overboard in some places but overall I think it came out good.

Should I make the mud/swamp water on the treads darker?

Loving the idea of a Teutonic theme, what do the infantry look like?

Very nicely done, the battle damage looks nice and the weathering is fantastic! Only things I'd suggest are masking things off when you paint the emblems, as your lines there are a bit wobbly, and doing a bit more shading and point highlighting on the lenses. Good examples for the lenses here.

Thanks for the link for the lens. It was the first lens I ever painted and I didn't really know what I was doing.

Say they're prussian. No one cares about the prussians

I'll be using a mix of these heads on regular Cadian torsos:

I will probably reserve the pickelhaube heads for veterans.

Uniforms will be gray, armor will be black.

Here is an Armored Sentinel I'm working on as well. It is not finished yet, obviously:

and all of them together with some troops. The troop's heads are going to be replaced by the aforementioned pig iron and west wind heads later on:

life.

I like the damage, but your lines (especially the shield) could be a little crisper.

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Yeah, I have to get a finer brush soon. I use army painter "Wargamer" Insane detail. It is pretty fine, but I feel I need a finer one.

True, a good brush helps. Practice also makes perfect (or as near as man can achieve)

True enough. I've only really recently begun to paint.

These look fantastic. I have been thinking about doing an IG army and was worried about it looking like every other IG army. This definitely gave me a lot to think about. Nice work.

Yeah, I am going to probably work more on the lens this week. I'll use that guide that was provided earlier.

I'm going to start painting my Leman Russ battle tank too.

I'm just waiting for my replacement heads to come in the mail now.
