Mission Info
Terrain: Roll off for terrain, highest roll chooses 1st piece. Switch off deploying terrain, scattering the terrain
3d6 after each placement. Terrain may not be within 6” of the center of the table or 6” from another piece of terrain.
Deployment: Pitched Battle
Game Length: At the end of turn 5 a player must roll a dice. On a 1-2 the game ends immediately, on a 3+ the game continues for turn 6. If this is the case a player will roll another dice at the end of turn 6. On a 1-3 the game ends where as a result of a 4+ the game continues for turn 7. The game ends immediately after turn 7.

Special Rules: Capture and Control
"Space Junk" At the end of turn 3 place a counter in the center of the table. Scatter this counter
3d6". At the end of turn 4 scatter the counter once more, this time
2d6". If the game does not end on turn 5 (see Game Length), at the end of turn 5 the counter scatters again
d6". The counter will always scatter. If the scatter die shows a “hit” result, follow the arrow on the “hit” symbol to determine the direction of the scatter.

Bonus Modifiers: Even if you score all five modifiers only a +4 may ever be given!
+1 Point if you have more Kill Points than your opponent.
+1 Point if your opponent controls zero objectives.
+1 Point for controlling your opponent’s objective.
+1 Point for controlling the Space Junk objective.
+1 Point for controlling more table quarters than your opponent.
Terrain gets placed fairly evenly with a peice in each corner and one in the middle.
Rich place's his objective in the upper right corner and I place mine in the lower left.
Rich wins the die roll for deployment.
Deployment
Rich infiltrates the scout bikers and deploys most of his force towards the middle with a combat squad with a missle launcher (camping his objective) and a predator on the right.
I decide to deploy and split my forces deploying in the corners giving the manticores cover and congo lining infantry in front of my vehicles. I outflank the 3 Vendettas and leave the
PCS in reserve to make a run for the middle objective later.
I make a mistake and leave a 2 inch gap so he is able to charge though the gaps with his scout need to leave a 1 inch gap.
Rich deploys his Scout bikers on his half of the board.
Rich makes his scout move turbo boasting his bikers 18 inches towards me.
Rich's Turn 1
Rich advances most of his vehicles 12 inches toward the left side where my objective is. Land Raider Smokes and a Razoback going for the middle where the Space Junk will drop. His scout bikers move to 1 inch away from my infantry.
Missle into the
PBS Chimera on the right stuns it. Right Predator shoots at my right Manticore but does nothing between cover saves and failing to do damage. Other Predator shoots the las
plas vet chimera on the right and explodes it. 2 las cannons from razors shoot at my left manticore but 1 miss and I make the cover save on the other. Land Raider shoots the Veteran Chimera with assault cannon using
potms but does nothing.
Scout bikers multi assault my infantry and the company command and veteran chimeras, wrecking the veterans chimera forcing them to emergency disembaark and stunning, taking off a flamer and immobilizing the company command chimera. The infantry squad makes its leadership and actually sticks around to my disapointment.
My Turn 1
Veterans on the left try to get in terrain away from the wrecks but roll low. Infantry on the right move up a few inches trying to move up a little to take some potshots at his squad.
Librarian casts Shield of Sanguinus. Both Manticores fire at his Land Raider doing no damage. Left las cannon fires at the razor in the middle stunning it. Right las cannon fires at the Left
In close combat his scout bikers wreck the company command chimera forcing them to emergency disembark and killing a couple infantry but the infantry hold in close combat.
Rich's Turn 2
Rich moves his Land raider, rhino and razor 12 inches towards my left corner. Land raider fires at the left Manticore blowing off its rocket launcher. left las razor takes a shot at the las
plas razor but misses. Left predator fires at the psyker battle squad chimera and stuns it again. Right predator fires at the right manticore and does nothing.
Scout bikers finish off my infantry on the left.
My turn 2
I get 2 Vendettas from reserve with one on each side. They come on in the corners to take shots at the predators.
left Manticore moves to burn scout bikers.
fire on my target on the right scout bikers from the veterans finishs off the right scout bikers, one died in combat. fire on my target on the left scout bikers from the company comand takes out 2. Manticore tries to burn remaining 2 scout bikers but wiffs. Vendetta on the left shoots the leftpredator in the rear destroying a las cannon and shaking it. Vendetta on the rigth shoots the right predator on side armor and shakes it. Las cannon from the left destroys the center razorback. right las cannon fires at the right predator but misses.
Rich's Turn 3
The terminators get out of the land raider and move towards my company command and the veterans. Land raider turns around and heads for the vendetta. Other Razor backs up to take shots at the left Vendetta. combat squad moves towards the vendetta on the right to use their grenades.
land raider shoots the left vendetta. las razor shoots at left vendetta and fails to do anything
Terminators multi assault and kill both the company command and veterans. combat squad shakes the rightt vendetta. scout bikers asssault and kill Manticore on the left.
My turn 3
I get in my last vendetta and the Platoon command. last vendetta comes in on the left. Platoon command comes in the middle to go for the junk objective.
las
plas vet chimera on the left moves to burn the remaing scout bikers. psyker chimera moves up. shaken vendetta turbos to my side. infantry on the right move on up to try and get in the vendetta next turn.
Manticore fails to damage the Land raider again far left vendetta blows up the left predaor. closer left vendetta blows up the left razor. between some chimera flame and hot plasma the last scout bikers die. platoon command chimera fires at the marines in the middle. psyker chimera fires at the combat squad on the left as does the psyker battle squad but they get a perils and 1 psyker dies. right las cannon wrecks right predator.

Rich's turn 4
Rich's terminators move to assault my las
plas chimera on the left. the rhino moves onto my objective on the left. land raider stays still. assault squad on the left move and then run for the middle. assault squad in the middle move towards the objective.
land raider explodes the far left vendetta with its assault cannon and immobilizes the other with its multimelta.
terminators wreck the las
plas vets chimera and they have no room to get out so die.
My turn 4
vendetta moves up to the infantry squad and they get in. chimera in middle turns towards the rhino for some reason I think he is running blood lance.
pbs multi laser shoots his corner tactical and kills one causing a test and the
pbs nails them with weaken resolve for -5 and they run off the board.
immmobile vendetta does nothing to his land raider, right manticore immobilizes land raider, right vendetta, right las cannon, and multi laser from the middle chimera finish off his squad in the middle.
Rich's turn 5
Rich moves and runs his guys in the middle.
My turn 5
I move my Vendetta onto the junk objective. middle chimera moves 12 towards the objective and I forget that the vendetta has guys in it and have the guys get out and then run.
Vendetta shoots at his Rhino which gets a cover save and wiffs. right las cannon
Roll the die and the game ends in a draw.
Results
Draw with 11 points
+1 Point for controlling the Space Junk objective.
Had a fun and tough game with my friend and team mate Rich. He earned his full marks in Sports.
MVP Vendettas actually did their job and killed all his light armor. runner up was las
plas squads which helped.
Game Analysis
Made a few mistakes
1 congo line should be 1 inch apart and I forgot I had infantry in my vendetta
2 should loaded the melta vets into a vendetta to go for his objective.
3 got the infantry out and ran which was bad because he has fear the darkness.
