Sorry if i missed this in the FAQ. I am uploading photos of my personally painted GW miniatures, i have been checking the 'i do not own the copyright' box to be safe. Even though they are GW's miniature designs am i allowed to say i own the copyright to my personal paintwork photos?

Yes, otherwise the only use for that box would be for people who sculpt their own models - a proportion of the total gallery users I am sure is vanishingly small.
