Meet Brigid the Hive Ganger and Vasquez the Catachan

Brigid is a EM4 miniature, customized to hold a chainsaw sword and a revolver.
Vasquez (Named after one of my fav characters from Aliens) originally held a grenade launcher,
which I replaced with a flamer, as well as her plain knife with a better one. Flames are sculpted from green stuff.

Naw. Just pressed in. In a pinch, I could used a bit of fun-tac to secure it if necessary.

Nice sculpting on the flames. The camo detail is equally impressive.

Very nice work. I like what you've done with the flamer, it really make the model stand out. Have you considered getting the flames from the Flagellents kit? I use them on my SM flamers. They're shorter flames but don't make the figure lopsided when glued in.

Saw the minis, thought they were pretty great. Then I saw Vasquez with the sculpted flames and my jaw hit the floor.

The camo design is very reminiscent of the early catachan fighters, looks awesome!

Thanks. I use the camo stripe pattern from the cover of my Catachan codex. Thin irregular horizontal stripes are much easier to paint than traditional patch-like patterns--At least for me, anyway.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check them out for future flamers.
