Well, as the title would denote, this is a Space Wolf Blood Claw urinating on a fire. My Blood Claws are all kind of drunk and partying, so this is my first one painted. I took a break from painting my Space Wolves to do Orcs for WHFB, and I have some stuff that'll have to get posted from that adventure soon. C&C are welcome, as long as they're not something lame like "Ehh, Spesss Marines don't urinate because they're so awesome that their bodies run at 100% efficiency" or some other such garbage.

It's why they're the only Space Marines I'll ever play. Because they're the only ones who even remotely resemble real Soldiers. I just can't imagine the Ultramarines having to deal with Joe. And any military organization without Joe is just a bridge too far for my suspension of disbelief.

Shouldn't he be lifting a leg? It does look great and I do like a bit of comedy in my mini's now and again (why I like orks). Maybe a couple beer bottles in the fire? Other than that lil' tidbit I think you got the look you were after. Thanks for sharing!

Though really, I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I clicked the thread title, was pleasantly surprised (not that I enjoy watching burly men pee on things but...) its really, really well done man, great job.

This really is a great model. The modelling and painting quality is very good indeed. The fire is very good. And of course hilarious!

Thanks for the nice words, everyone. I made the piss out of heating and stretching a very thin piece of yellow clear plastic until it was even thinner and somewhat bubbly, then bending it into a somewhat curved rainbow of piss. I was thinking about doing an R. Kelly Space Marine using a similar method, except the Dark Eldar slave girls would be used... eww.
This will actually work better once I've finished my other Blood Claws, as they are all drunk with beer bottles, kegs, roasted meat on a spit, and carousing with hookers. It's like a little diorama unit.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I actually drilled in and sculpted a release valve with a flipped up cover at the groin, which isn't really showing up in the pictures, but yeah, I didn't figure he'd be able to get his wang out of the power armor, so I just made it sort of like our space suits where I assume he pisses into a tube in the suit and then it releases out through a valve.

Great stuff! i'm sure a lot of people have had thoughts of carousing Space Wolves and drunken fights between them, but you have turned those dreams into a rather amusing reality! always liked your work, this just gets +1 in my books!

This is pretty damned funny, and a very well executed model and paintjob.

Now that's some comic relief that sm could do with. I hate to be the guy who offers criticism in such a great thread, but I'm not 100% on the fire directional lighting, it seems a bit too muddy rather than bright. I think the fact it's such a light coloured armour that makes it tricky. It does not however, detract from the overall impact. Good stuff.
