Hey Guys, this is my first post on Dakka! I wanted to share this Nemesis Dreadknight with you all.
I re-positioned the right leg slightly, and added a custom base. I was pretty happy with the results.

Now I must part with him, as he is being donated to the Battle for the Shrine charity raffle. He's just a part of the 1500 point Grey Knights army I'm painting to raffle off for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. So if you like him, he could be yours! Head on over to our Website to check out how to buy tickets.

Also consider this an open invite to everyone in the Western Massachusetts area to come join us Sunday June 12th for our all day battle!

I think you need a bit more information on the blog. Following your link and the "Buy Raffle Tickets" link gets me essentially to your post. No way of actually buying the tickets that I can find, no indication of if you need to be present to win, etc. If you want participate you'll need a much more transparent set up, especially if you're asking people to hand over money on a small chance of winning a prize. Perhaps I missed it, but if I can miss it, so can others who might potentially donate.

Thanks Guys!

@Gitsplitta I linked to the event homepage. It works when I click it? I didn't want to link directly to the raffle tickets page as I wanted to invite people to check out the whole event, but the direct link to the products page is here Scroll down and it answers your questions.

I like the pose, it's like he just finished with this daemon at his feet and is coming for you.

Also I applaud the raffle. Befitting that the knights in shining armor of the Grimdark universe is the ones being raffled off.

Hey cbomb... got it. Don't know how I missed it but I appreciate the direct link. Hope you guys bring it in for the charity. Your fine painting will certainly help I'm sure.

Not just the Dreadknight is in the raffle, he’s offering a full 1500pt army !!!!!
AND
They are all painted to the same standard of quality…
I know I’m going to be buying my share of raffle tickets….

Oh… had to add this….. it’s for a good cause too!!!! (I got a little excited) it’s for the Shriner’s hospital to raise money for the kids…..
There’s a link on his site to buy tickets and I’m pretty sure you don’t have to be there to win…..

I checked with Fisher about the raffle last night, I was correct… you don’t have to be present to win. How cool is that???
In fact he was sending out some raffle tickets to Texas or something when I was talking to him about it… I’m trying to get him to post pictures of the rest of the army, I fell in love with the tank he did for this army… I’ll bug him some more to post more pictures…

Indeed, and let me also chime in and say that I'm a regular at cbomb13's shop. The army's coming along nicely and looking great. I even got a chance to get a game in against it tonight. Whoever manages to win this certainly won't be disappointed.

By the way, It's great to finally see you on Dakka. Also, I was wondering, do you have an army list posted anywhere for the Grey Knights raffle army?

Hi all, thanks for the kind words. Here's the list for you all to see. The models are glued (not magnetized.) I'm almost 100% done with the painting. I'll be sure to post some overall pictures when it's done.

Here it is all painted up. 1500 points of Grey Knights could be yours! Head over to www.battlefortheshrine.webs.com and click on our "Products" tab at the top to buy your tickets. You don't need to be at the event to win this army. The army comes packed in Sabol foam trays ready to ship, and a Codex: Grey Knights is included. I am even including a printed copy of the 1500point list made in "Army Builder." If you win this army, all you will need is a tape measure and dice to start playing it! Drawing is Sunday so buy your tickets soon! Thanks for looking guys.

Great job on the army and I love the shading on the dreadsknights sword. Whoever gets that guy should be very happy.

OMG I have to say wow this is awesome but whats more awesome is that. This army looks exactly like the one I had commissioned.

The paint job and the base lava look looks exactly the same. If i didn't know better it could easily been you who did it but its a UK artist so I guess not.

This is just awesome. I will never get tired of looking at this even though I have some right next to me on my desk.

Only difference I have to say is the colour seems to by brigter on my models but that could just be lighting.

OMG I still can't get over how two artist did the same style of painting and same lava base (I know its bit of a common scene) but still awesome.

It's very nicely painted and kudos for that, but the Dreadknight can't be saved IMO, it's a terribly conceived model.

While the paintjob oveall is wonderful (especially that sword!) the red and white leg armour could possibly add balance if it were on the opposite side to the shoulder-mounted shield thing.
