Finally finished my deffkopta (this is the last time I use white primer for models with a lot of metal parts, I swear!).
What I particularly want to know is whether this mud color is better that one I used for Da Drilla

So, Git to da kopta!!!!

Yes that mud is better, Kinda loots like black mud. If you want it to look like normal everyday mud you got to git a brown color in it somehow.

It makes the orks themselves bright and shiny without putting over 9000 layers of paint

Very nice work... and yes it should be the last time you use white primer at all! It is just a waist of time, unless you painting something with a white, grey, or bone color scheme.

Excellent model and paint job I am loving the detail.

Walk in the shadows and deliver the Emperor's justice into dark lairs of his enemys. Strike from the shadows and let them fear the very darkness they call home. Embrace the shadows for when all others would be driven mad we shall remain whole.

The mud's certainly different, but I don't know about better - that would depend entirely on preference, as it's pretty much the same style with different colors. Personally, I'm still not a fan. It does look like flooded ash, though, if you ever want to model that.

As for the model, I do rather like the conversions and the painting is pretty good.
