I think this thread is in the correct place, but sorry if its not!

Hey guys i was just looking through some of my old stuff and i found what i believe to be a chaos dreadnought from the space crusade, its a large, heavy, metal model similar to the one in the image below and i was just wondering as i have had no luck finding them for sale if anyone had any idea of the value of this model. Thanks

No idea on the value but if I may be allowed to be pedantic, if it is metal, then it didn't come with Space Crusade - those ones were plastic.

Pedantry permitted, I was about to say the same thing Presumably they must have made a metal verison at some point.

Possibly but the picture you posted actually looks like the plastic Space crusade version (if my fuzzy memory serves me).

I assume they made a metal version for 40K at some point.

As far as I'm aware, it wasn't made metal.

This is the only older metal Chaos Dreadnought I've seen:

I'd love to see a photo of that as I've never seen or heard of any version of this model apart from the plastic Space Crusade version and a version that was used in the Epic Scale chaos army.

Please post an image of the mini, I emplore you!

Jesus!

That thing is identical to the plastic, it must weigh a ton!

Is there a date on the base of the model?

Have to admit though, it does look like a plastic model.

I suppose someone could have copied the plastic one using metal. It was a fairly simply model.

It's definitely a SC Chaos dreadnought.

Found something!

You say it's Metal, right? You're sure?

You may have an unreleased metal master:
