I feel a little bad that I'm only buying this as s dreadknight count-as, but it is a brilliant miniature and unfortunately I don't have time to get into other games.
Also, before shipping it is cheaper than a Dreadknight in Australia....

The price for the optional weapons/parts is also crazy. The claw @ $20 is cheaper than a single Finecast character mini..

A mortis version would make me so happy. So happy that I would be willing to open my wallet to show in appreciation. I do not have the room for the larger version but the smaller version would be perfect.

You would be some kind of nerd idol (or just a dude with more money in your pocket) if you could do the mortis pattern one.

On a side note, I still havent finished my 28mm Crusader. Its been assembled and base painted, but needs shading, details, decals, etc.

My pleasure The damn shipping software does not take into account volume. If I can safely fit it in a smaller box and refund the difference I am happy to do so

All but one have been shipped, so keep an eye for your package over the next ten days or so if your out side the USA and expect about 2-3 days for here in the USA.

Mark was gracious enough to send mine to me a week and a half early- and I believe with a bit of help from them, my team took best hybrid team (theme + appearance) in the 40k team tournament at Adepticon

A few pics, and a link to my gallery for some more I took of the process, but was holding until he got this thread up! Obviously, they're a "little" over-large for dreadnoughts, but none of my opponents had a problem with blowing them out of the water at this size

I think I need to end up trying to get one of these when they become available again. Looking for a count-as Dreadknight for an AdMech army.

Just ordered a few left-leg forward legs, since all the base ones are right and I'd like to have some variety. Will be blogging the rest of my progress in the P&M section at some point soon .

Imo, these kits are fantastic and I look forward to what else Dreamforge comes up with in the future- hopefully with more stock!

This IS the smaller version. The 28mm version is like 10.5 inches tall or so, and 120 pieces or something crazy like that.

I was thinking that there would be an even smaller version, as I've seen these in person and they are a bit too big to be a realistic Dreadknight counts as, never mind a Dreanought counts as.

I'll unfortunately be using all the mauler claw arms that I purchased... but if anyone is craving some of the standard arms, by that same reasoning I will lots of extras of those (as well as 4 sets of legs, since I got some of the left-leg forward replacements), which I'll probably put up in the swap shop for trade.
