So first one has to wonder what would happen if a necron, a non warp being made of nuts and bolts kills Lucius the Eternal. Does Slannesh have some way of possessing murderous robots into sexy pleasure freaky muderous robots.

Secondly what happens if Trazyn does the killing? Does he escpae into another necron host or does he stay in that body, until that body is killed?

In your nightmares...

Uh, that's a tricky one. My guess is that Lucius would somehow possess one of Trazyn's bodies but that Trazyn would go to another.

On the other hand, I find the concept of a sexy pleasure freaky murderous robot hilarious and I will award +1337 points to the first person to model that.

Easy.

1. Trazyn kills lucius.
2. Lucius takes over Trazyn's body.
3. Trazyn transfers to a different host.

However,
4. Trazyn seeing something truly unique, captures lucius and puts him in the gallery. Permanently stored and safely out of harms way on display.
5. Tzeentch gets po'd because one of his champions is now unable to change and sends a chaos force to free them.
6. ???

Which means we will never see Trazyn and Lucius go up against each other in fluff. GW wouldn't want to lose lucius, nor start a direct war between a Chaos god and a soulless machine.

Trazyn would get taken over and mold into Lucius, while tranfering into a different body. However if a line warrior killed him then nothing would happen because run of the mill Necrons feel no pride/emotion and thus Lucius couldn't invade them

Lucius is one of Slanneshs minions. Not Tzeentchs.

Trazyn, and all other necrons, lack souls.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Isn't it Lucis only takes over his killers body if they feel pride or enjoy the kill (like most people will subconsciously)?

If Necrons don't feel pride or...any emotion...or have souls...then if a normal Cron Warrior killed him what would happen? There is nothing to take over really anyway...

Lucius would be dead.

The thing that usually bugs me whenever this discussion comes up is how people seem to think that you can rules lawyer a chaos god, the example usually being along the lines of, 'well, what if he was hit by a macro shell from a battleship in orbit? So long as whoever pushed that button to fire the shell, if he felt even a little good about it, Lucius would come back!' IIRC in his backstory, it was how much of a rush Lucius felt when he first died that caught Slaneesh's attention, and made him a favored warrior who kept being brought back. I would imagine that if Lucius managed to get himself killed like a punk, getting his face gaussed off by a necron warrior, or falling into a tyranid digestion pit and landing on a hormagaunt's scything talon, instead of bringing him back, Slaneesh would go, 'well that was fun for a bit. Bored now!' and Lucius would no longer have the boon of being a god's favored warrior. So long as he keeps being a twisted bad ass who makes slaughter a dying an art, he doesn't have to worry.

I agree with this sentiment, while if a Necron Warrior, essentially an automaton, landed the killing blow on Lucius, it is unlikely that the Warrior would be corrupted, however, that does not exclude Lucius from popping back into existence by some other means. Chaos always finds a way.

The thing is that as soon as Lucius enters Trazyn's body, one could just either teleport the body back into stasis (which would be hilarious) or simply blow it up and Lucius..uh...what would happen to him now that he has no host? :O

Then again, this entire discussion is wasted. Necrons have no souls and thus he cannot, as far as I am aware, possess his body. Arch-nemesis found!

I think the main problem with these kinds of topics, is that people attempt to logic out chaos.

Any chaos, by definition, does not follow logic, not even it's own.

Yep. Chaos only follows logic if it favors Chaos. Which it never does. Usually. Only if Chaos wants the logic to favor it.

So basically, this is the equivalent of dividing by 0? It just....can't happen....and if it does then it...doesn't...

Thankfully, GW will never actually allow this because we all know they would come up with some complicated story as to how they both avoid death, likely involving like....Blood Angels...or somethin...

Actually, just keep in mind that it was the Necrons who saved the BA ass, not the other way around...

How? C'Tan are corporeal gods, the chaos gods aren't. And since Necrons are immune to the warp, how could Slaneesh do anything about it?

while newcrons are immune to the warp, in that their soul is protected(by virtue of not having one) they are still vunerable to things from the warp. A daemonette can indeed hurt a necron warrior.

So if slannesh really got angry, im sure he could conjure up enough power to make life for Trazyn unpleasant. It might involve reincarnating Lucius's soul in daemon form inside the chest cavity of a newcron warrior(or trazyn) cutting the cables that connect the newcron cpu from the limbs and binding the daemonic form to the metal of the body much like a Forgefined is made.

What I was trying to imply that if even a high Necron Lord manages to kill one of the Warps best fighters Slaanesh would not be best pleased.

Yeah, to be fair, I have the sneaking suspicion that if Lucius were to be killed by a souless creature, yet manage to please Slaneesh anyway, he'll just come back, probably as a daemon. Chaos gods dont have to play by their own rules.

That being said, I suspect Slaneesh is a gambler, and she would probably not want to bring Lucius back in such a case. She seems like the kind of diety that gives a mortal a hit of demonic superjuice and waits to see how long he'll last with it. What's the fun of the game if he already failed once? It's not like Slaneesh NEEDs champions. The game was, how long can you last making other great warriors revel in the thrill of combat, even if you lose? The moment he gets blown to bits by a Battle Cannon, he's lost his streak, not much of a toy at that point.
