Afternoon all,

I'm thinking about painting up a small (c.1000pt) balanced eldar list, comprised of some Guardians, Rangers, Dire Avengers, Farseer, Warlocks, maybe a Wave Serpent and (if I can stretch to it in the points limit) a Wraithlord. I already have all the models (i've got around 3000pts of unpainted eldar models...) so it's just a case of deciding on the paint scheme.

I already have a falcon painted in the Saim Hann scheme, which a friend of mine painted to a good standard, but I'm not too keen on the red/black/white scheme. However, it would look somewhat out of place if I fielded it alongside models painted in different craftworld colours.

I've looked through the codex to get a sense of the well known craftworld colours, but I'm not keen on any of them really. Ulthwe is perhaps my favourite, but it will be too similar to my Black Legion chaos army, and I'd prefer it to stand out on the display cabinet, instead of blending in.

So, I'm looking for examples and suggestions on how to paint my army. Anything is on the table at the moment - I want to have a prominent wraithbone element, so it's just the base colour scheme for the craftworld that I'm really interested in.

Any help or suggestions would be very welcome!

Thanks in advance,

A.
