Finished building the Thanatar around half an hour ago.

I reckon another half hour and the glue should be sufficiently cured to allow the undercoat spray.

Well on course to have it fully painted and based by the end of the day.

Ordered one of these and it finally arrived today. It's absolutely monstrous, each wing is larger than a Baneblade.

Finished building 14/24 Wood Elf archers, 8 Wood Elf cavalry from that Battalion box I've been working on.

Also finished building Lumineth Wind Spirit #6/6 for an AoS escalation league.
Now for some painting.... not sure what paint scheme atm, so I figure I'll start with the basing.

I did a bit fixing of the painting of a couple of minis. I also worked on two minis for antagonistic units for my next Five Parsecs encounter. Corpo security goons, Stargrave trooper minis. One was a new mini and one being a repaint of an old mini.

Also, I played through that Five Parsecs Encounter and it was a lot of fun.

I’m unsure.

Got a range of options, but I think I’m gonna be good, and continue on my LI ruins.

I was going to play through my next Five Parsecs Encounter, but I started setting up the battlefield too late and took too long doing it. So hoping to play through it tomorrow.
I also painted a new mini for the enemy team and finally began assembling my kit of the new Striking Scorpion Kill Team.

I have Plague Monks here at work to paint but I'm waiting to see who's in charge as it'll dictate how much of a sense of humor they'll have about me painting while the machine cycles. The last 4 hours was an uptight new supervisor, so I knew better than to try.

Not sure yet what to do for next month challenge, either a kitbashed Ork, a plague sorcerer or a wraithlord. hmm

Further, might try to do all the bows on the archer-elves (20 of them) I still haven't finished (atleast all their heads are done though, but also still need to do all their quivers AAAGHHH!)

Finally done!

I've been slowly buying old Metal Flagellants for the last 2 years. Over the summer I didn't get very much painting done but I ways scouring Ebay and managed to get the last 6 models I needed to complete a full unit of 30! So behold! My Flagellants.

I retired my old Warrior Priest and made him a Prophet of Doom. Also had a damaged Flagellant missing his top banner, so I converted him into a banner bearer since Old World has the option of one. Speaking of the Old World.

I made a base for them too, although I'm only running them in units of 24 in this case. Not sure whats next on the paint table though I am glad this project is done!

Finally got the rest of that WHFB (5e?) Wood Elf battalion built.

So, out of the depths of time & my storage unit come
8 mounted archers & 24 archers on foot.

I assume these unit #s will work for Old World....

And the 12 Dyads that sparked building this box after all these years?
Fully built, painted, & with the other D&D minis needed for the weekly game.

Figured that since I had the box open, and that Old World activity is slowly picking up at the shop, I might as well get the Elves built.

Rolled up the 27th Campaign Turn for my Five Parsecs campaign and the scenario for the next Encounter. I also assembled four of my new Striking Scorpions. The Battle Systems Gothic Cityscape box I ordered a few days back arrived today and I began assembling that as well.

Yesterday had the kid's game day and played another game of 600 pts of Grimdark Future: Firefight. I played Havoc Brothers with lots of cultists and my own faction Intergalactic Beasty Bros! while the kids played my faction: Independent Inquisition Stormtroopers led by Inquisitor Arlathan Karkin with a tank worth roughly 300 points. Was a lot of fun. I rolled terribly and lost, but I did manage to take out the tank which went off in a big explosion as I house ruled 40k's explosion rule.

Fun times! Also did more assembling of my Striking Scorpions.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I printed out the tokens for Space Weirdos today, then played my first game using the solo rules using my Warband I made of Attelus Kaltos as the leader, Adelana, Karmen Kons, Marcel Torris, and Medicae Halsin from Secret War vs a whole lot of Cultists led by a traitor guardsman. In all honesty, I didn't have much fun at all, the game just dragged on and got frustrating so I quit. It didn't help the cultists seem to roll insanely well.

Might give it a go another day

Played through my 27th Five Parsecs Encounter today as well as rolling up the Post-Game and the 28th Campaign Turn.
Hunted down a Rival made up of Unity Grunts which were fought earlier. Wasn't the most fun game I've played in the campaign so far, but was more fun than the Space Weirdos game last night and the mess ups were mostly due to tactical frig ups rather than the abundance of annoying RNG elements.

Sitting on the wrong end of the Webway.

Today I'm trying to figure out how to paint laurel-green. While sketching a near endless collection of winged horses that would be easy for a knight pilot to paint by himself before battle.

(Devram Sevik is said in the novel to have painted the shield on his Castigator himself as no Sacristans could be spared.)

These are the books I have access to:
Age of Darkness [2.ed.], WH40K Core [10.ed.], BattleTech: BattleMech Manual, Imperial Knights [Index], Adeptus Custodes [10.ed.], Liber Mechanicus [2.ed], Kill Team [2024].
These are the models I own: Knight Castigator and if I was a better ninja or wrestler an Armorcast Warhound.

Looks really cool! The priest is fitting well in there as a prophet! Mine are not painted, but will have to rework them for the Old World too! Amassed a big metal horde of 40 back in 8th, so probably gonna split them in two units, 24 like you did seems about right for that game with the increased base size! Some filer in each should do the trick!
