Calling my Shinobu Kitsune practically finished, just gotta finish basing her. I started and made quite a bit of progress on my Saito Togan and I primed both my Jean D'arc and O-12 Casanova agent I find it funny he looks a bit like Dennis Reynolds/Glenn Howerton from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, lol.

More like what I did last night/Monday but I got a couple of Warhounds done for LI/AT and some squat prospectors for Necromunda.

Anyway, had a great day today. It was the kids game day and it was the first time we played Grimdark Future (Army) instead of Grimdark Future: Firefight (skirmish) It was 1000pts of The Crew of the Orray and Company vs 1000pts of Custodian Brothers. It was a simple 5 objective game with who ever owns the most objectives at the end of the last round wins. It was down to the wire, but the Custodes managed to get the win by the skin of their teeth. I love games like this, so much so, I'd rather losing a close game rather than have a complete walk-over and being victorious. MVP for the Orray and Company was Azakir Halgriv (in the ninja armour kneeling on a muddy hill with his sword held outward). He managed to slay at least one Custodian and injure another, and almost took the objective needed for victory. MVP for the Custodians was the Master Custodian who managed to survive Azakir's and his assassin's onslaught to win the game.





















After I got home and cooked dinner, I began painting my Saito Togan from Infinity who I wish to use in a 2000pt Grimdark Future list for my Crew of the Orray and Company. He's almost finished, just gotta base him and such.

Going to build a box of Kroxigors.

That'll give me the last unit I need for a Spearhead force.

I'll be turning Gold into Stone!

Soon these shiny gold Sigmarines will be Grey!

I practically finished my Saito Togan. Almost based him and everything. So began work on my Joan D'arc mini. Managed to get her practically done already even though I mostly painted her white.

I was pretty productive today. Finished basing my Saito Togan and made a lot more progress on my Jean D'arc all I have to do is highlight her gun, leathers and the NMM gold on her sheathed sword.

The temperature and humidity is low here today so I put Dullcote (matte seal) on a large group of my painted 15mm WW2 historical miniatures, primed some Ork fighta-bombas for BFG, painted a few basecoats on some 28mm cultists, and spent hours rescuing an incompletely 3d printed Ork Kill Kroozer for BFG. It was a pain because a couple banks of heavy guns, the tail, and the engine exhaust ports failed to print completely so I ended up creating replacements.

Tomorrow I need to base coat, & then color code the bases, of several squads of Grey Knights.

I had 2 5x Purgation squads - both unpainted. Telling them apart on the table wasn't hard.
But I've now added 2 5x Purifier squads. The only difference is the # of stormbolters/psycannon. At a glance they & the Purgation squads were real easy to mix up this evening.

So tomorrow afternoon....

Calling my Jean D'arc pretty much done, just have to finish basing her. She's...okay. I accidentally dropped her while painting her and I think I tried to catch her when she slipped through my fingers, but all I succeeded in doing was making her shoot, almost like I THREW HER ON THE GROUND, onto the floor with a bang and she broke apart (Only where she had to assembled) and she got some of her paint chipped off. So, I re-assembled her and fixed the paint up. I've also been basing three robots that I painted ages ago. The minis I need for that 2000pt list are almost ready, just have to wait for the arrival of the Infinity PanO Tikbalang mech suit, assemble and paint. I hope to have it all ready for the last miniature game day of the school term which is the 17th of September. I hope it arrives from Aussie soon!

Started painting 40 Ashigaru with Pikes(warlord and Fireforge minis) for my Oathmark Easterling army.
Hope I'll get them finished in September.

Finished my Joan D'arc and completed basing my old three robots for my 2000pt GF list. Also, made a few more lists for fun for Grimdark Future and Grimdark Future: Firefight.

I'm waiting for the mailman, as the heads for my guardsmen I ordered from Poland are supposed to arrive today!

There's a running joke in my circles that my minis have to "earn thier paint".

So, in honor of Kragnos's spectacular 1st turn in Saturday's Escalation League, I am compelled to add some actual paint to this mini.

Turn 1 charge into a Great Unclean One & a unit of Blightkings(? - the foot warriors of Nurgle)
Completely wiped the GUO on the charge & killed every Blightguy with the melee attacks.

The opponent was like "! ! !"

Me? "#%*&, another thing to paint!"

Assembled, primed and began painting, and almost finished, my Infinity Japanese Secessionist Army Oniwaban. Dry brushing him made it quite quick. He is such a cool model. I also assembled my JSA Daiyôkai Dengekitai, too.

With spooky season on it's way, I'm getting back to painting zombies (and skeletons).

Painted boots on my BA German platoon. Almost finished painting a battery of foot artillery for my epic french. Glued bodies to bases on 10 stargrave automatons.

Pretty much finished my Infinity JSA Oniwaban mini. He's such a cool mini!

Well Summer is coming to a close and soon it'll start getting cold out, so I have an excuse to stay indoors and paint!

But before that I had a get together with my gaming group and we played a mini 6th edition tournament in which I was massacred in all games. Its my fault, partially by playing an army I never really played with against others for the first time. Secondly, I made a bunch of dumb mistakes and really didn't craft my army list to be all that "Hard"...not that you could really do that with Ogres in 6th. I did learn that your Tyrant should never leave home without "The Tenderizer". Lets just say I failed to kill a Vampire Lord for that exact reason.

I finished basing Oniwaban and began painting my Dennis Reynolds from Always- I mean my O-12 Casanova. Also rolled up a new Five Parsecs from Home crew based off the main characters of my Sci fi novel I'm working on.

My Infinity PanO Tikbalang arrived today, so I assembled (he had no instructions and he really didn't need them as he was so easy to figure out how to assemble and was a joy to put together, GW, take notes from Corvus Belli, please) and began painting him. I got quite a fair way's through and he should easily be ready for my 2,000pt Grimdark Future, The Crew of the Orray and Company list, by the kid's game day on Wednesday. Although, I'm painting him the same colours as my Tech-Bee cutie as they're from the same mercenary company as she's dedicated to fixing and maintaining the warsuit. My cousin had the idea to paint it in the colours of Eva Unit 1 from Evangelion: Neon Genesis as it's obvious what the influence is on the Tikbalang design, I was tempted, but going with the green/black/grey colour scheme.

Almost finished my Tikbalang today. Just got a few things left to do including the basing. I bet those of you can see the influence of











I used the same colour scheme for my Tech-Bee and her Crabbot as, while they're both PanO, I decided she is part of the same mercenary group and maintains the Tikbalang or mech suit.

I'm going to to the Warhammer store and stand in line for a Floating Dawrf miniature I don't want and can't use.

Primed all my new Epic Warpath frames yesterday. Working on getting them based up.

Varnishing and flocking some Dusk models for Warmachine, assembling 3 new MCP models and hopefully starting to paint 2 more MCP models.

I'm calling my Tikbalang finished today. Although have to finish the base a bit...













The Tikbalang was a ton of fun to paint. I also made a lot more progress on my not Dennis Reynolds from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I mean, the O-12 Casanova. Seriously, I think Glenn Howerton could sue Corvus Belli for ripping off his likeness. Like Gainax could sue Corvus Belli for ripping Evangelion Unit 1, too, lol.
