They've not long fulfilled the Empire Of The Dead: Requiem kickstarter pretty much on time, well done and with good communication so I'd certainly recommend them.

Initial armies: Gaul, Spain, Rome, Italy, Carthage, Numidia, Macedon, Thrace, Skythian, Greece, Persia, Sparta.

Currently locked armies: Seleucid, Indian, Ptolemy.

Yeah the cost of 15mm mini's is in a different league to 28mm, these are fairly cheap too. Normally in the 30-50p/each range for metals, compared to at least £1/each for 28mm plastics. 15mm plastics can be pretty fragile though.

Though ignoring the cost what I like about 15mm is that they give you much more manoeuvrability at normal table sizes, particularly for large blocks of troops, so you can have more strategic games without needing massive table space. I already when to 15mm for WW2, and I'm in the process of selling off my 28mm ancients to pay for 15mm armies from this KS

Funding achieved Still 24 days to go to get various armies and freebies unlocked.

So a bit of an update; the project has funded and met a couple of stretch goals so there are more armies available.

With the stretches, Strategos and up get a free mounted Alexander The Great, mounted Sitalces of Thrace and Darius I of Persia on a 4-horse chariot.

There's also add-ons in the form of shield transfers, village huts, baggage carts and Celtic/Greek/Roman civilians.

There's only 4 hours left to run on this, and there have been a lot of additions so check the site.

In short; there's a whole host of new armies available, lots more free generals, more buildings, fortifications and siege engines.

Also there's now a free pack for all Strategos (£60) and above pledges
