HQ:
Mega-armored Boss - Cybork, Attack Squig
1 - Fleshbane

Elite:
5 Lootas -
1 - armorbane
2 - Rending

Comes to 200 pts flat. I plan on talking my local TO into doing kill teams in the area. An easy and effective way of adding new blood I believe.

In Kill Team you can't take HQ choises.

The usual FOC for Kill Team is:
0 – 1 Elite
0 – 2 Troops
0 – 1 Fast Attack

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Theres all sorts of restrictions on KT, you should probably read the latest rules for it.

For starters, theres no 2+ saves last I checked. No HQ. And also one one power per model where it looks like you've tried to put two powers on the Loota Squad.

Personally I love Tankbustas in KT. The distances are so short that they can actually get into combat, they can ping off Marines with AP3, and deal to any vehicles your likely to encounter. With five of those you then have enough points for five warbikers which bring crazy speed and solid dakka

Well that changes everything. Maybe 5 bikers with a nob and his PK with a squad of gretchin.

5 bikers seems quite good for a kill team:

latest rules also allow you to give three of them a specialist rule, I'd suggest picking up a copy of the pdf for kill teams of the GW website and enjoying thinking how your orks can do loads more damage

5 Bikers with other support wouldn't be bad. Adding FnP and/or Invuln to squads is a good help in Killteam, as people will try hard to find ways around 3+ armor in bulk.

I know my Eldar fields 10 models, 9 of which have 'pseudo-rending' and 1 of which has a Fleshbane AP3 weapon.

5 also have an Invuln save.

The problem with big kill teams is that the wonky rules can really, really get in the way of assaulting with them. Suddenly you've lost a huge amount of whats Orks good.

Why the bosspole? Can it work for break tests? Check the specific wording because I've been lawyered out of all sorts of gak.

Can back up TBs and Koptas as definitely worth a go in KT though. Chuck Shrouded on a kopta (or warbike) for 2+ saves - even better now that standard 2+ is out of the question

So, another eccentricity of the Kill Team rules (at least in the version I have downloaded) is that added bonuses that would usually effect a whole unit, for example FnP from a pain boy or +1 WS from a WAAAGH banner, now only effect the single model holding the item.

So FnP is pretty cost ineffective. Though cybork, as it's purchased model by model, could still be good.

My elite kill team unit of choice would have to be a deffkopta. It's a bike, but for ten more points you get an extra wound, more terrain avoiding goodness, and you can take just 1 if you want. Plus it has that awesome natural cover save that can be improved with Killteam rules.
