What is the best deal for buying Warhammer models you have managed to snap up from ebay or any other website?

I very recently obtained a Ravenwing Dark Talon/Nephilim for $45.00. New in box. Add in the $10 shipping gives a total of $55. I call that a good deal. Another one I got was 9 flesh hounds of khorne for like $27. I'm pretty happy with that one too.

I recently got a built and unprimed FW Angron model for $51. I peed myself a little from the excitement.

I made a thread like this not to long ago and the census was most people are way to proud of their used badly painted models on EBay. Most the time your better off buying new and doing it up the way you want.
Don't get me wrong there are deals but for every deal you have 30 people trying to sell their "pro painted army" for far to much If you ask me.

And (not as good of a deal but had what I wanted to start the army )about 1000 points of SM for a little over 100 dollars.

Got a box of zombies for $17.00 shipped the other day.

Got around 60 grey knight models for ~$200.00

Got ~ 100 cadians, 6 HW teams, and 3 sentinels for about ~$100.00

750pts or Necrons for about $80 or so. And considering I was trying and failed to buy less Orks with that money and just bid on Necrons because I was throwing a tantrum for losing EVERY SINGLE AUCTION, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Got more of a better army. Full CAD and fieldable list.

An auction on Vespid earlier this month looked nice until the price + shipping reached near retail

50 CSM + 25 Beserkers for $70... It was one of those, "Its such a good deal I can afford waiting for them to get a better codex" type moments.

Correction: Hope they at some point get an up to date codex. Better probably wont happen :(

3 new retaliation cadres boxes for $165 each (including shipping in the price). Seeing as they are usually $215 and the individual models are around $265 new, I was happy with my purchase.

Got a FW IK for about $100.

I'm well aware of recasters. I got it in the mail the other day, and it appears to legit.

Roughly 2000pts of mostly unpainted Sisters of Battle for $500aud.

6 WFB armies for 110 some dollars each on ebay. They were approx 3k to 5k points each. Paint jobs were basic, just need ink, highlights mainly.

I sold 2 of the armies for over 800. One of these I added some more details to make it look more interesting... but i wonder if I really needed to....

Got me a Hive Tyrant on-sprue for about $30. Best deal I'll probably ever get.

I got what I thought to be a great deal on an unpainted Tyranid army that included some cool OOP models. It is still in the box waiting for me to get to it. But I think I paid about 200 USD for it all.

Sealed box of Fire Dragons for 60 Ringgit (9 Pounds or 13 dollars approximately). Guy just didn't want them anymore and evidently didn't know their current value!

I just picked up all 4 of the new Assassins NOS for 50 bucks with free shipping. I'm pretty pleased. lol

Mines not anything rare or crazy cool, but it sure paid off.

Saw a $5.00 box of bits about a year and a half ago, bid, paid $5.00 shipping. What a haul.

Inside the tiny 5x7 inch box was a bag jammed to the gills with everything from a few RT Era marines to nearly a compete venerable dreadnought. Tons of power weapons, heavy wespons, heads, legs, torsos, fancy pants blood angels stuff, stern guard, and a smattering of building parts and other scenery type things.

I'm finally putting the last of 17 completely custom marines, 4 minor scenery pieces, a custom master of the forge and 2 tech marines together, plus, I haven't even started on the dread. It's been a busy year, but I basically spent 10 bucks this year plus a handful of paints!

Wish I could find another amazing box like this.

The real savings come from bulk army deals. Individual models or boxes, while discounted off retail, typically aren't that great of a deal, but if you consistently scour ebay you will find things.

A year ago I got a poorly painted Sisters of Battle army for $270. It contained over 110 battle sisters with various equipment, plus lots their vehicles. When individually purchased, it retails for over $1500. As soon as I got the models, I stripped the paint and relisted them as individual units and made almost $1100. Probably could have made more waiting since lots of those vehicles just went OOP.

I've been noticing a lot better deals on eBay recently. A lot of things are going for markedly lower prices!

Battle for Calth has been popping up at about $100 for the set, which is a nice 33% price cut of retail.

It drives me nuts when almost every seller on ebay thinks "badly painted" is the same thing as "Orky." Applies to a lot of the buyers, too. Considering the strength of the codex, Orks seem really, really popular.

I keep my eyes open for RT-era Chaos Renegades. I just picked up eight for under £28, including P&P. The previous batch to that was £40 for eight, including P&P and I even considered that a great deal.

I also got 20 Space Crusade scouts still on sprue for £3.70 recently. They'll be joining my 2nd Ed Mentor Legion army.

Not ebay but on Craigslist I found somebody selling the older Necron Warriors (16 + scarabs), Nid Gaunts (8 terma 8 horma, 1 ripper?), Ork Boyz (16, no nob), Kroot (16), and single Crisis Suit all NIB in shrink wrap for $70 US. One or two boxes where a bit beat up and look like they sat in a basement for a few years but everything was pristine on sprue. Interestingly this plastic had a lighter color plastic than the darker stuff GW uses nowadays.

Wasn't ebay for me, it was Amazon. I was skimming it at random one night and Realm of Chaos: The Lost and The Damned appeared for $30... Was so good to have it back in my arms again.

Game shop in town just had a two day sale on most things. GW items were 50%+ off. Sadly, had to work both days, so no deals for me
