Thank you Cap'n Facebeard and muette.
The next two I think I will both do in the old style...in fact I don't think you can get warlocks in a Harlequin force anymore. You can have Shadowseer. Both these figures were originally tagged as a Warlock and High Warlock.

Nice of him to bring his garden spray gun with him. Be good for keeping the bugs off the roses.

This inspires me to actually paint up the 'ancient' metal eldar models that keep getting gifted to me (the only eldar player in the group) from my whole gaming gang.

Not only did you paint a classic, you did it in the OG color scheme. I love it!

Nice work on the Harlequins, Cap'n - really wish they'd at least bring the Great Harlequin back at some point.

Brilliant stuff CB, the checker pattern on the leg looks ace.
I am a big fan of the ghostly blue-white you use on your Harlequin masks.

Very nice diamond patterns! Do you have a trick for getting them so nice or is it just talent?

Thanks Olthanna,
I am afraid they are actually far more white than in the photos. I never bother to adjust anything other than cropping a photo to fit. It might be the blue background, I really do not know.

Thanks Cap'n,
I think I saw on the GW site...You do the lighter base color first, then a really fine black line diagonally spiraling down the body part. Repeat the process until you have a series of parallel lines wrapping diagonally down the limb. Then start doing the next set of these fine black lines at ninety degrees (or more if you want a longer diamond shape). Repeat and now you have a grid of diamond shapes. Fill in the darker color in alternate diamonds. Then start touching up your diamonds, and this lines (you can make the black lines even finer during the touch up process...especially if your are doing a fine highlight in the edges of your color diamond..
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
CB
