To help people with kids who need stuff the whole family can watch together now.

"Spaced invaders". A good family movie about really inept martians trying to invade earth on halloween due to a rebroadcast of the WotW radio show. Funny, decently made, kids and adults can like it. Plus where else do you see a big headed martian with antennae talk like Jack Nicholson?

Animated Disney movies in general. But Lilo and Stitch has a special place in my heart.

Can't go wrong with the Muppets either. Well, the older ones anyway; the last couple movies weren't all that good in comparison.

Pixar also has a long list of good kid-friendly material that is also very entertaining for adults. Although they do tend to suffer as franchises go on... and on... and on. The first is the best, on the average.

The Iron Giant is quite good too.

And if you can find the old Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies stuff, that is absolutely brilliant. But you may have to explain stuff like blackface...
