Partly so I can find it again easily, but also I figured a single thread just makes sense. And it’s for third party websites you find useful resources.

As ever, no “you can find the entire rule book in pdf form here” stuff. Think cheat sheets, not piracy.

Anyways, New Recruit offers a handy dandy, clickable list of weapon traits and other special rules. I expect this to be very useful in-game, as it’ll save us flipping back and forth in the main rulebook.

Please note I’m yet to, and probably never will, verify the info is correct and/or takes into account FAQ changes.

I mean, New Recruit is just as much of a wiki collecting information from someone else's published sources as any other much better and more comprehensive site, such as Wahapedia (which also has everything put out for LI).

Not any more than the New Recruit, as neither contain the whole product with scans, pics, background and all that jazz, focusing only on the rules bits. One of them just does a better job of it, but both fall into the same category of game-aids.

Anyway, on topic, I don't think there yet exists a well laid out proper reference sheet for the game, given how useless the GW version is.

Legion Builder I would say is the most useful app & resource available for list building for Legions. It updates very quickly too, I believe the new units were added within a day or two of the new Tallarn book being released. The army list print-off is handy and you can link through directly to unit statlines and loadouts.

It has got better and less buggy since release, but would be nice if they had a link to the special rules (or even a page reference, if they were worried about being struck down by GW).

But genuinely I can't recommend it enough. It's probably not too much of a stretch to say I wouldn't have continued with Legions without it.
