Because Epic is the wrong scale, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and use Li models as scenery for the Titans.

What set is the best deal for using models for my bases?

II would hope for Mechanicum forces, but anything will do, if it looks cool hanging out under a Titan.

Thanks!

well the mechanicum boxed set is still in stock in most places. So that gives you the best deal for cheaper mechanicum models so long as you're happy to have extras of transports and so forth for a mechanicum force.

And the individual boxes are about to be released.

Thanks, I saw the individual sets were coming out, but I didn't think to look for the boxed set.

I guess I can break and use the transports too.

Yeah if you want just the troops then individual boxed sets would work. Also don't forget once you put the legs on and some terrain you might only need a few troops for the base so that its not crowded. So even one box of infantry could go quite a long way

If you know anyone with the Civitas Imperialis kit, it comes with lots of random ruin bits. Useful for making destroyed building markers, but also very suited to Titan Basing,

That makes sense. How many pieces would you recommend?

I don't want it to look to busy, just as if the Titans are a part of larger conflict.

I'm not familiar with that. Is it worth hunting down?

Honestly I'd get a box of models and just experiment. How many depends greatly on the titan in question; the leg pose you go for; the base details and what you want it to look like.

Unfortunately I do not. But I'm going to have to look into one as they don't make decals or emblems for the Titanicus force on the covers of their books. (Legio Crucius aka the Warmongers)
