thats the old general grizmund with the regimental banner^^. the comanders powerfist is a custom one, i wanted it to look like a boxing glove, because it was to funny to pass up. the second melta gunner has a vox caster's main block attached to his back, and i made a green stuff power line going to the gun. i like the meltas that i can make this way far more than the GW one, as i can pose the models very easily.

Platoon command squad 1
they have four flamers to take on large groups of light infantry, and the officer has a strom bolter to add a little long range power. this command squad is usually kept in with my platoon squads until something gets in to close, or out nearer teh edges of the board to roast those anoying flanking units.
Infantry squad
all of my infantry sqauds have the same gear. a missile launcher, and a plasma gun. this grants them a surprising amount of flexibility on the battle field as they have the ability to take on massed infantry like orcs, to heavy units like a "fex, and almost any tank that come in range should i need them to begin armor busting.

this was a lot of fun to do. i made the treds double wide, and in the spirit of more gubinz i twinlinked all the weapons on it just for effect. the heavy flamers i snatched from a baneblade and teh heavy bolters are from the sponsons. i used some bass wood to raise the turret in order to give the army commander a greater persance on the battle field, and used a pair of lascannons in place of the autocannon since they look more imposing.

Why I Started This Army
when i first started 40k i simply fell in love with the IG. originally i just liked them for not being space marines. but after my first ten games they were my new favorite army.
since then ive been i've just been adding to them and now i have just under 15000 points.
EVERYONE AT MLGS THOUGHT I'D LOST IT.
or at least they had until i started to build the titans. now, they just shake thier heads and wait for the next insane project.
the next plan for this army is a titan legion task force. so i need another reaver, and i am thinking three hounds.
its gonna be fun to see what happens next!!
