Heya folks, i started putting a Vanguard Vet squad together the other day from from an assault squad and random sprues floating about. I ended up with a half decent squad but 1 guy i gave a power fist and pistol, looking at him i felt he was dying for some lightning claws so set about trying to make some for him. i know they aint half as good as some of the ones i have seen but thought i would pop a few pics up anyway and see what the nice folks of dakka think so far.

That's a nice little bit of plasti-carving. Honestly, the stock bits aren't so much more detailed than this that, once painted, anyone will look twice.

@tempus corvus, it says 040" thickness, thats 1.02mm but tbh it looks and feels a bit thicker.

@mullet_steve, yeah they normally got 4 claws but 3 fits easy and as was mentioned the wolveriney look is kinda a bonus

Most chaos players will love it due to the fact the termie box has gak layouts for weapons.
Atleast this way you can add some claws to it if you want a claw / PW unit.
