Hey there, it seems the cookies for retaining your login only seem to last about an hour or so when I'm browsing on my iPhone. Cookies for all other sites are still active, so this seems to be an issue with Dakka or something.

Anyone else having this issue?

I have it on Android, I'll be logged in on Dakka with the "remember me" checked, do a little browsing while dropping the Browns off at the Super Bowl, put the phone to 'sleep' wake it up an hour or later so and have to re-login.

No but my iPad starting playing up a while ago with regards to cookies and the only way to get it back functioning properly was a hard reset. On the Ipad you have to shut it down completely and start it back up again (ie when the apple logo appears). Not sure what the iPhone process is though.

And yes, I realise the most commonly given solution is to 'turn it off and then on again'

Just to dredge this up again. I've done what Filbert recommended and it's still happening. This is obviously a problem at Dakka's end, as I go on several other forums on my phone and the logins remain intact. It is getting a little frustrating to have to login every single time I visit Dakka's forums on my phone.

I'm on Tesco mobile (I believe they use part of O2's network) and I'm still on iOS6. There seems to be no retention of my login cookies after about an hour. All of my other logins (for example on PP's forum) remain intact until I clear them.

If you turn off mobile data and just use a wifi connection, does the problem continue to occur? Could you also please copy and paste the content from this page for me:

(I appreciate that copy and pasting from a phone is a pain, but if you can do it I can track down the error much more easily and craft a workaround).

yes if you could do it through 3G as well that would be good. And to double check - it logged you out automatically between posting this right? ie; you copy pasted, waited for it to log you out, then copy pasted again? Thanks

Manually logged out wont do it, I need you to get logged out by the bug rather than doing it manually as it has different results. Next time you get logged out by the bug, please copy and paste then and let me know if it is wifi or 3G. Thanks!

Well, ever since I temporarily turned off my phone's wifi to use the 3G it has not logged me out of Dakka. Lego, I'll keep you posted if it happens again, as I've been periodically checking my phone every now and again (on laptop right now) to see if it logs me out; but it appears to have solved itself.

Lego, it appears to be my work's wifi that the problem occurs. Here's the relevant code when I was logged out.
