For anyone not aware CB in concert with Beasts of War are currently running a new Infinity Campaign, which started 2nd March.
http://flamestrike.warconsole.com/
Some background to the campaign, objectives and missions are in detail on the website where you can register and log your results, as well as download a campaign pack.
There are also details on how to submit battle reports, and there are running totals of wins/losses and 'domination' of different zones. You can also 'vote' for commendation of commanders based on their battle reports (the quality of which are very varied at the moment)
Map of the island
Thought it would be fun for anyone on Dakka taking part to post some of their results and see how they are getting on!
Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

Thanks Pacific.
Should be getting our first game in tomorrow.
Only change I would have liked is a little more lead time on the fluff to make some themed terrain a realistic possibility....not that I've got my current terrain together.

Just had my first Flamestrike game this evening.
It's really cool, knowing that your little game in a pub is connected to something far, far larger; I felt that I really didn't want to let the Empire down!
Must remember to read the mission properly, though. Hsien Li got the job done in the Medical Complex, but spent a bit too much time ensuring that there were no witnesses, as opposed to gathering as much medical research data as possible!

Just registered for this, so I could check out the rules and missions. Hopefully, 10 weeks will be enough time for me to get a couple of games in. Where can I find the rules for the Engineering Deck Mission? I don't see it listed in the Table of Contents on ITS 2016.

Really excited about this
I've always found Infinity's fluff difficult to get into... I think I'm too used to GW's screaming hyperbole to really appreciate to subtler differences between the factions, and their relatively short history. I haven't given the fluff book more than a cursory glance since I got it, though that's probably the resentment I feel for paying for it...
I'm expecting this event and the eventual release of HS will really make me appreciate the game setting more.
Or Plastictrees will kick my ### tomorrow night and I'll quit altogether. Stay tuned!

Thank you for the tip, and for linking to your battle report. Nice writeup, and a heck of a rough turn for that PanO player. I voted for you for a Commendation. We dakkaites need to stick together, after all.

I heard that there will be a new scenario each week to, so Engineering Deck might be the first of many.
Nice write-up Tristan. I think that BoW is looking for multiple photos though, something to consider for your next batrep. Enhance your chances, as it were. Oh, and Death to Pan-O ( except the ASA)

Nice write-up but damn that's hard Tristan
Thought you could have let him try to come back with a few models, or at least rubbed the salt in a little
Looking at the stats the 'big two' (plus Nomads) seem to be going well, Combined Army and Haqqislam appear to be taking a pasting!

Nice. Rated and commendated (?).
Our game was postponed due to illness, so I'll have some more time to work on terrain (haha).
Has BoW mentioned if they plan to host all this stuff after the even is over? Would be neat to have this big collection of battle reports available.

Me again! Had a remach against the opponent of my first Match on Flamia Island. He was somehow crying for revenge and even brought a TAG and heavier dakka nevertheless the game had a similar ending though.
Read everything in Revenge is a dish you can choke on!

I don't understand how to correctly create battle reports: does only one player submit the battle mission, or do both players need to do that to get points/xp etc?

Both players can submit, and they can link to the other player's report for additional points. Only the person who submits get points.

And also have in mind that after you submit a report you have to go and edit it with the results of the battle in order to get your exp.
I myself have played two missions in this campaign with my PanOceania list (no long battle report worth posting here though) and I must say it is a very nice campaign with proper support and organization. I think other companies should follow the example of Corvus Belli and hire other companies like Beasts of War to have online campains run in a professional way...
