Turns out my parents are thinking of taking me to MMA classes, not karate or kung fu as I ahd thought.. Not to make fun of anybody who goes to them or anything, mind.

I want to learn kyokushin karate or kung fu, not some sport. If i get in a fight at school, I can't take someone to ground and make em tap, as their friends would join in and stomp
my head in.

EDIT: Felt I should specify what the MMa class would be teaching me. It specilizes in Brazilian Jui Jitsu.

As do I. The backwoods of PA. I'm several miles away from the nearest town, and it's a long haul to get anyplace.

The only people I could walk to see, are the crazy rednecks. And after one of them drove into our yard on a ATV drunk.

What caliber was it?

Rifle teams shoot .22s., most of my friends that own guns use 30 aught 6.

It was a 22 I think. Guns arn't my thing.

Now, explosives there 's something I could talk about for hours!!!

Right now, focusing on how best to cut off the flab from two years of college and eating trash.

Gotta take swimming back up and altering diet to more chicken/fish, then move from there, methinks.

Aw yes. I originally laughed at the .22. I have grown to love it though. Why would anybody need a massive bullet to hit a target (or deer/squirrel/racoon/moose/turkey etc.)
when one carefully placed shot does the job so much better? Maybe that's why I don't hunt and just shoot targets for fun.

Now explosives, aye laddy, those one can talk of forever.

From the simple and reliable Molotov cocktail, to the slightly harder but nonetheless destructive pipe bumb, to high grade plastic explosives.

One of my coworker's extended family members built a pipe bomb to blow up a small structure yesterday. After the early explosion, they had to amputate just below his elbow. That's got to suck.

I guess I'm either alittle numb to trauma, or I'm just a typical dude cuz my first thought was, "was it his dominant hand?" Cuz you know, I'd hate to have to do "The Stranger" for the rest of my life.

Think about it. Would you rather lose your woman, or your dominant hand?

Eventually it wouldn't feel like cheating with a stranger.

But after some soul searching I found them too dangerous so I carefully detonated them in the ditch.

Well as carefully as a 14 year old could.

Well, you can't play 40k anymore if you lose your hands. You can still do it, however, if you lose your woman (and you play even better usually).

That's the overacheiver in me. If I made bombs, I want C4, not a pipebomb. I would also use napalm.

Trying to add some levity to the mood.

I just saw a rifle advertisement in for a local gun shop. It is a Mosin Nagant, used, but in great condition, for 90 bucks.

The price leaves me wondering what their definition is of good condition, but I still wants it.

Wasn't the Mosin Nagant only in Snake Eater, not Guns of the Patriots?

I only ask because I only played the first mission of MGS4.

I think only the AK and a certain kind of Vietnam era rifle was in MGS3.

Anyways I woke up to hear the roof banging, I hate it when it's really windy sounds like a genestealers trying to get in from the roof.

As to whats on my mind, everyone thinks I'm a mentalist because of a little incident at Le Mont St Michel, which I won't go into for the sake of your mental. my friend's coming round to my POV on life, the universe, and everything after an epic rejection by a girl. And my teacher summed me up preety well:
