I see this in a lot of different forums: I think it's worth bringing to Dakka as a mega-thread.

What are you working on RIGHT NOW?

I've just finished 27 28mm American Civil War Union Marines and a Clank Trooper for Victorian Sci-fi. I'm going to start working on some Warmachine Mercs (Madhammer, Driller, blaster, gunner, Kell to start) this coming weekend.

How about you?

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I've been completely engrossed in bloodbowl for the last 6 months...
Working on my third team.
the Chaos Small Stars, a bunch of goblins from the chaos wastes that idolise their favourite team.
mostly old school goblins with a few conversions including two WHFB chaos trolls... my green stuff skills are shockingly bad, i'm going to redo the trolls pads.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

1000 points of ogres, 2 years in the making. Finished 1.5 bulls since 2008 started, plan is to finish #2 tonight then move onto butcher and maybe gorger next week. Then perhaps bruiser + trappers the next week, and 3 yhets the one after.

Man, I could get these done by Feb easy!

working on my new csm army(yay for xmas). It's about 1500p exactly.
While I was in the states I also picked up about 500p of Black Templars so I'll be busy for awhile probably.

After I have roughly 2000points of BT it'll be time for Chaos Eldar again probably 2000pt.

Then I may try pimp marines. They look nice on the marine painter.

Just finished converting a MKI Landraider to MKII with ability to swap weapons for Terminus Ultra variant. Hopefully I can post the WIP pretty soon. I have to give it a coat of paint now . . .

Then it's on to finish my Guard. I was looking at the home stretch, but couldn't resist buying the Basilisk battery for an additional 20% off. After painting 5 tanks the thought of working on 3 more hurts; but it's them, 6 troopers, and some officers and elites to round out a 5000pt Apocalypse-size army. Of course, I may never actually play Apocalypse, but hey.

The Hammer

Got off my behind and stuck my 6mm WWII Americans to some stands - a coat of sand and some toothpicks for the ATGMs and they'll be standing in for Israelis. Right now my "active" desk has a few 1/72 FT-17s and Vickers 6-tons, plus the 8mm Emperor's Children, Daemonettes, Death Guard and Thousands Sons I still have to finish detailing. I'm rather amused at how sharp the Plague Marines look - it's probably the less-than-decomposed appearance of the basic 8mm Chaos Marine sculpt...

edit: @Panic: those pads look fine in the picture you have, although the thumbnail of the ensemble sort of looks like Grey Knights and Penitent Engines...those are some very Vitamine D deficient Goblins...

I have a lot of stop-start in how I work. Lately, I've been plugging away at lots if Imperial stuff:
- 3 Defiler conversions
- 4 Chimera conversions

Once the bitz come in, I'll be working on:
- 1 Basilisk conversion
- 1 Hydra conversion
- 2 Hellhound conversions
- 1 Baneblade/Hellhammer conversion
- 1 Atlas conversion

The Imperium will be well-represented for Apocalypse this summer!
____

Update:
+ Hydra conversion was completed 1/7
+ Basilisk conversion underway, to be completed by 1/20
+ Hellhound conversion "bitz" ordered
____

Update #2:
- Basilisk conversion on hold for bitz
+ 2 Hellhound conversions almost done, pending turrets & track covers
+ 1 Atlas conversion started construction

Some backwater sump

3 different 4x4 tables, as I have none at this point. One will be lightly snowy, one standard fieldscape, and one desert. And I want to make a Sulese city table a la the Terrainthralls guys. That one will probably be second, after I finish the snowy table.

Anyone know how to stop pressboard from warping when I put the sand on?

Oh, and I VOW () to have at least the table part of the snowy table done before the end of the month. And 2 hills, 2 forests, and a smattering of obstacles.

Maybe try hitting it with thick coat of primer or clearcoat first?

I'm finishing up four Vibrocannon crew and an Autarch. Just need to drybrush the base, static grass and seal. Last models of my 1500 point Eldar list.

Then I need to decide if I'm going to add Orks to my army, finish up my Sisters, Godzillas, or do some Chaos test models. Probably Godzillas, I guess.

50 Marines. 20 scouts with Sniper rifles, 40 Termies, 1 Ven dreadnaught, 2 DP's.

The wall of base-coated Black figs is depressing. Also, since my GF bought me WOW for christmas, they have largly been untouched. On the Chrissy break I made about 8 pieces of terrain, and 4 Las-cannon Marines. Now that I think about it, EVERY Marine I finished over my Hols was a Heavy weapon dude. Weird.
