I need to muster up the courage to buy about 60 of those 25mm bases...

And I suppose I'll need another 18 of the 60mm bases for jetbikes/skimmers...

As always, the forest bases continue the fine Micro-Art tradition of making bases that are wonderful to look at but completely impractical when it comes to actually mounting models on them.

And a modular building system huh? In resin? That'll go well.

Hopefully they can get back to making Iron Brotherhood models quick-smart.

Ahh, they're not that bad...just need to pin and/or green stuff them to the base.

My problem with the Forest bases would be they look less like a forest to me, and more like an ex-forest or logging camp. Every base has stumps and/or chopped up tree bits? Can't be much of a forest left!

FLGS can already order them, e.g. Battlefield Berlin already has them in their webstore.
The Micro Art webstore sometimes takes more than a month to update, e.g. with the foam terrain.

While I love the designs, I'm inclined to agree with HBMC about the mounting issue. I'd love to see an eldar model ( a guardian or banshee, for instance) attached to the wraithstone base above to see how they manage to fit. Seems like they'd be a bit lean-y.

Also, no 40mm Wraithstone?

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
