Well it's been a while since I've posted anything so I figured it was time to dump some images on dakka and get some feedback. Hope you guys don't mind so many pictures.

I'm happy to hear any comments and answer any questions.

First up are two pieces from my menoth army. I've been rushing these to try and get this army done before I move later this year.

Chaos terminators:

Wood elf:

Thanks for looking.

Lovely work.

Question about the spellsinger, does she have eyes? I notice
that you have eyes on your paladin, but the Wood Elf either
doesn't have eyes or she's still wip or the eyes are really
subtle.

Your teal chaos marine makes me think of Barpharanges's
army.

Great work! Very impressed! I love the termies, and the blue detail work on the teal marine's base. The other termies have great bases too - I'm always happy when people don't base red models with the traditional emerald green.

Nice Kreoss. I love the two different shades of white on him. How did you do the white shoulder armour on the Paladin?

Your tusked termies are very cool too.

yeah...
I really like your terminators, they are painted really clean but still look mean.
I wish i could pain as clean as you... i drybrush and ink pretty much everything!

I think they look good with no racks.
but without the racks I think they would look better with GS filling in the corners?
the plastic kits is cool though, i wish it had 5 TL Bolters though so if you wanted a basic squad you can do it...
as is with one kit you must to take add ons options?

are your arms magnatised?
just in your photo dump it looks like they are all clinging to a metal cup.
I'm currently building my terminators and I've been thinking about magnatising some of my weapon options. but I think I'll run out of shoulder pads...

edit: also just noticed your using the same resin base bits i'm using ... they look cool

Panic...
yeah...

I'm impressed with all of those, nice job on the Warmachine stuff. Can I just ask how you did that red on the terminators? For some reason that is the colour I have absolutely no success in painting so any help would be great.

Malfred: Not only are her eyes painted but she has eyeshadow as well. I would have had to take a seperate pic of just her face to capture it and now I think I might since I spent a good amount of time on her face. The sculpt is a funny one there because she's got her eyes half closed and most sculptors do the bugged out thing.

Dfo: Basecoat VMC ivory, shade #1 with a wash of VMC stonewall grey, shade #2 with a wash of stonewall grey and VMC medium sea grey. Then clean up the basecoat and highlight with a thin mix of 1:1 ivory and white. Do this final coat a few times to achieve the smoothness desired.

Panic: Yeah the arms and shoulderpads are all fully magnetised. You need smaller magnets for the shoulderpads but it's pretty easy. It'll save you from having to buy a bunch of extra pads. (I think racks looks really horrible so I left them out.)

Deathmaster: Basecoat with a mix of VMC burnt cadmium red, magenta ink, and liquitex ivory black (a transparent mixing black). Then highlight by carefully glazing vmc red. Glaze magenta ink over everything until you have the tone you want.

Thanks for all the comments guys and I hope my answers were helpful.

Ur making me drool. I'm no expert painter, but I think I like your regular termies better than ur lord. Maybe its because the shot isn't as close, but it looks like the paint blended much better, and there is more depth of color.

Very helpful! I was feeling most unsure about how to paint my Iron Fang's armour white, but the idea of stealing your technique makes me much happier. Thankyou kindly.

A very nice showcase of work you've got here. The wood elf being my favorite of the bunch. I think it really shows your strengths most.

I'd appreciate a poast with a nice headshot. I still haven't
picked up that model for Wood Elfs.

Nifty eyes!

Do you have pics for an Army Profile? It would look swank
in the Dakka Articles portion of the site.

I don't have a wood elf army if that was what you are asking. However in a month or two I should have enough painted protectorate stuff to warrant a profile so perhaps I'll do something then.

Apologies to the mods for threadomancy, but I just wanted
to post here to inform Wayfarer that I've appropriated his
Kreoss pic for the Dakka ARticles system:
