I knew I was playing Chaos daemons, so I bought the Havoc launchers... it was about time i fixed these back on my rhinos, they fell off ages ago
For some reason I still bought a power weapon???

Mission:
Annihilation in Pitched Battle - long table edges
I won the roll and picked the table edge with the long hill.
Daemons let me go first...with out trying to seize the inititive? meh...!

So i set up on top of the long hill...
the Marines were looking at a empty table, but could sense a disturbance in the force!
I decided to move the rhinos out onto the flanks and try and contain the deamons when they arrive?
(having never played Daeomons before... looking at a empty table I didn't know what to do!!!)
end of my turn1 I was deployed like this.
Squad on the hill has 2x Plasma
the rhino in the woods has the melta and
PF champion plus the lord has joined the unit...
it's supported by the 5x possessed
the empty Rhino takes up possition on the hill to fire his Havoc launcher
the last squad in their rhino flanks along the left edge.
(ian separates his forces into two groups (
HQ & both Elites --- 3 Troops Squads)
Ian wants his
HQ and Elites rolls for his Daemonic incursion but the assault won't go as planned...
tzeentch has a giggle and Ian rolls a

so he gets his three daemonette squads instead.
tzeentch plays with Ian some more All of his Daemonette squads Scatter.
two mildly scatter but after a run move are pretty much where they want to be.
but one scatters off the table, on the DSmishap table he rolls a four and I place the squad in the far corner. they all run.

PMs and Lord disembark and after the rhino moves off they formed a line and rapid fired into the daemonettes, the rhinos adds their bolter and havoc launcher to the incoming fire and 6 daemonettes are are destroyed, 3 daemonetts from each squad.
the Possessed assault into the DEamonettes in the woods next to them.

12 Daemonettes hit first 36 attacks, 23 hits, 8wounds (3rends), I save one rend and all 5 non rending (1with
FNP). 2possessed die
3 Possessed hit back 6 attacks, 4 wounds, Ian makes two saves. two daemonettes die.. Combats a tie.
Then From the WArp a
KOS and 3 Fiends Rip into the material world.
KOS is accurate in his appearance and runs towards the
PM rhino
thefiends scatter 3inchs in the woods facing the
PM on the Hill
Daemonettess Assault the
PM Squad And Lord
15 attacks on the lord and 21 attacks on the squad result in 1wound on the lord and 1 dead
PM
Plague marines and Lord hit back killing 5, daemonettes are fearless and 1 more dies to no retreat. 6 dead Daemonettes
the daemonettes in combat with the Possessed cause no wounds while the Possessed kill two then two more to no retreat...4 dead.

daemonettes kill 1 Possessed leaving two

KOS charges at the Lord and Kills him... lots... (1kp for daemons)
Daemonettes put all attacks on the
PM squad and kill 3PM
PM and hit back and Kill 2
the surviving fiend turns back to help the three daemonettes but the Possessed still Kill 2 daemonettes

daemonettes assault the retreating rhino but fail to penetrate.
KOS assaults and finnishes off the Possessed (1
