And just to show how random my mini painting is at the moment here's my latest who I started last weekend.

Baharroth the Cry of the Wind

Not much hobby stuff going on at the moment I'm afraid. Getting warmed up for job hunting, its nearly time to start looking so I've been getting things ready for my impending doom

Great work on Baharroth. Such a classic model, and you've done it justice!

Thanks Azazelx, it really is a great mini, I remember painting one a long time ago when I was a kid with really bright feathers so wanted to dark on this one more like storm clouds.

Thanks Joe

Job front should be ok I have three months left where I am before I need to even start worrying

------------------------------------------

I actually managed to start and finish another mini today in three hours which is quite amazing for me.

Today we go to Darklands with Naraa, Tain of Baalor she's the same scheme as Baharroth, who was kind of my test mini to see if I could get the blending of the blue right.

Her eyes are supposed to be frozen by ice magic, I've never done eyes before and you can tell

I'm due a lot of Darklands minis soon so you will be seeing a lot more in the future

Thanks Para, even though they were the same basic colours they felt quite different to paint.

I've been painting more Darklands miniatures this weekend, averaging at one a day which isn't great I'm never going to get through my back log at this rate

These are Gabrax from Baagath's herd. I painted Baagath ages ago and only have the banner bearer left to paint now plus the two alternatives but they aren't ready for painting yet.

Chuwaa, Gabrax hornblower

Ungaa, Gabrax warrior

Rapraag, Gabrax warrior

I know I forgot Chuwaa's eyeballs I'll go back and add them in later!

I like the white around the eyes of the hornblower... very goat-like.

Lots I seem to have missed. Really like the darker Bahaaroth scheme. I think it suits him a lot.

The eyes are really striking on the female warrior/wizard. Stand out well and I like them.

The goatmen are great. How would they compare size wise to a GW beast man?

Thanks Archer glad you like how things are progressing. I'm not sure how the goatmen size up to beastmen, I'l see if I can take a few scale shots this weekend.

Great job on these beasties. Fur is great, and it's a lovely collection of models. My goats are envious.

Cheers guys, I'm still not really back life is really rubbish at the moment.

But I have to paint a mini a month minimum as I run a monthly painting blog on another website for people to post what they've done each month and I can let them down

So this month I've painted Blaart, Gabrax tusk-bearer from Darklands who's been sat on my painting table since the last lot were painted.
