Got sidetracked today and thought I would try and knock one of these up!
It's a bit rough but i'm sure paint will help a little.
Need to sort out some guns but this is pretty much it. Any suggestions?
Made from cereal box and a glue stick w/ some plasticard detailing.

excellent work. I bet thats save you a few £s. Constructive criticism though: it might just be the photo, but is the gun at a slightly funny angle?

Both guns are pointing slightly downwards, it was hard enough getting them roughly parallel!

Maybe they can tilt or summat???

Cheers for the kind words. I'm probably going to make two more bumping the cost up to a massive £0.
Planes always look best in 3s!

Also if anyone has plans for a Hell Talon I'd be interested!

Thanks again guys!

Just given it a quick spray and base coated the canopy.

I reckon with a few colours and some transfers it should come out fine for tabletop!
I'll post when I'm done!
C+C still welcome, it's not too late to change!

I don't need forgeworld (I'm not sure I NEED models) but it is much nicer!
No warlord until I settle down a bit. Kinda limited for space at the moment!

Thanks Guys!

My rainy day project is furthur along.
Not sure if more paint and decals would be a waste of paint and decals!!!
The whole thing is a bit rough but I enjoyed doing it and saved a little cash too!
It really makes you appreciate the level of detail on the actual kits.
I should have added more detail in hindsight. It would have made the painting easier and better.
In hindsight I should have gone to work for a few hours and bought the FW version!

C+C welcome.

"I.. I know my time has come" Tethesis said with a gasp, a torrent of blood flowing from his lips.
"No! Hang on brother!!" Altharius could feel the warmth slip away from his dear sibling's hands

Tethesis's reached out his bloodied arm to Altharius's face.
"I..I have one final request"
Altharius leaned close to listen, tears welling in his once bright eyes.
"make sure th..they put my soulstone in a tank... it'll be... real fethin' cool"
"Yes, you're gonna be the most fethin' cool tank!!" burning hot tears streaked down Altharius's face, as he held his brother's soul in his grasp.

Nice paint scheme. It'd be cool if you threw on some tubes and vents just to give it a... tubey and venty look.

It is an empty (pritt stick) glue stick. Not sure if you get these where you are
but i'm pretty sure they are worldwide?.
The cap on the end (and all of the other bitz) is from the chaos vehicle accessory sprue.

You are an inspiration to cheap skates everywhere! I just got done putting together a drop pod out of cereal boxes this weekend. It's far from perfect, but it was free and the cereal box I made it with came with free frosted flakes with the purchase of the cardboard. I'm curious to know if you've tried your hand at any other scratchbuilding. I'm sitting on some templates, but have lacked the time and courage until this weekend.
